I was at the J8 outlet to exchange some items I had purchased online. I'd like to thank the young, tall, bespectacled gentleman holding the fort at the cashier's counter (24 Dec, 11am - 12nn) for being so patient with my questions. He apologised for being unable to fully assist with the administrative processing of my exchanges and for the extended time it took, as he needed his supervisor's assistance; I was very impressed by his genuine and calm demeanour. All in all, I was very delighted to be served by him and his supervisor during my visit. Wishing all staff at the J8 outlet a Merry Christmas.

I am a regular at Uniqlo, and I've never encountered a single rude staff member in any Uniqlo outlet. They were always welcoming and helpful. But, wow. Almost every staff member I encountered in this outlet yesterday, April 8th, 2024, had some sort of attitude problem or professionalism issue.
First, there was this Indian staff member in her late 20s or early 30s, not tall, a little on the plump side with a curly hair ponytail. I was looking at some items hung on a wall-mounted shelf. When I took a step forward to take a closer look, she was about to walk in front of me, but had to stop because I was apparently blocking HER way. She just froze with an impatient look and literally waited for me to take a step back so she could pass through, instead of passing behind me where there was PLENTY of walking space. Just as she'd hoped, I took a step back to give way to her because she was too close for comfort. The second staff member I encountered was a young, quite short, fair-skinned Chinese woman with her hair styled up, seemingly in her early 20s. As she walked past me, she literally scanned me up and down in a dismissive manner before sauntering away, for no reason. I even had to examine myself in the mirror after that in case my attire might have appeared disheveled or improperly worn. The third staff member. A tall Chinese lady, probably in her 40s, who spoke Mandarin with a Malaysian accent. She was the first unprofessional-looking staff member I noticed because she had an obvious sloppy and lazy work attitude when handling clothes. When it was presumably her break time, she went to the fitting room to try out some clothes, perhaps her own clothes, I'm not sure. But she was going in and out of the cubicle while asking a colleague, 'Do I look okay in this?', etc. That was when there were other customers trying out clothes.
I always thought Uniqlo had strict guidelines for customer service, but I guess not???

I was helping a friend buy these pants. I asked a staff member if the pants were available. She checked with her colleague, and her colleague confidently said it was out of stock, so I left. My friend didn't believe what I said, as he had called the outlet before asking me for help, so he called the outlet back again. The staff member who answered the phone then said there was a lot of stock in the outlet. Why weren't the previous two staff members aware of this? How many customers have left without these particular pants that they were already interested in buying?

I was quite surprised by the negative reviews about the Uniqlo Junction 8 outlet. I'm not sure if the staff has changed or if they've undergone retraining, but I must compliment all the staff here at Uniqlo Junction 8. They were all greeting customers and proactively handing out shopping baskets once they noticed you were carrying a few garments. I even overheard a customer inquiring about alteration services, and the staff at the fitting area provided very detailed information. Excellent service makes the shopping experience even better, so kudos to the Uniqlo staff at Junction 8. PS: I visited the outlet today around 1pm. :)

I bought some pants and other clothes to use up my birthday voucher, which was expiring tomorrow. The gentleman at the counter was really helpful and helped me with the redemption of the voucher using the self-service kiosk. He seemed a bit anxious, but he was friendly enough to help me. Other staff members were gossiping, talking, and laughing around when tidying up clothes (I can understand a few languages), which I didn't see as much at the Tampines branch. (At Tampines, they would shout 'Welcome to Uniqlo!' haha).

Uniqlo is an amazing place to buy clothes. It has all types of fashion. It has winter clothes, summer clothes, home clothes, outing clothes, and many other types. I bought a dress there and it lasted for 3 years. The clothes don't get stained easily. If you want to buy good clothes, I suggest that you go to Uniqlo.

I just had a super bad experience at UNIQLO Junction 8 Bishan. After I paid and walked out, the alarm suddenly went off. Staff asked someone to follow me out, but the alarm still rang.
Then they asked to check my other recycle bag in front of the entrance, like I had stolen something. So embarrassing lah, so many people staring at me like I'm a thief.
UNIQLO, please fix your alarm system, leh. Don't let others go through this kind of malu experience again!

Came here right before closing. Clean and organized location. Just didn’t find what I needed during this visit.

So thankful that UNIQLO opened at Bishan Junction 8!
It’s super convenient to have one nearby—I can easily pop in to grab essentials or browse the latest collections without traveling far.
The store is well-organized, staff are helpful, and the shopping experience is smooth every time.
Definitely a great addition to the mall. I'm loving the comfort and ease!
