Came here to alter my pants length and Uniqlo Store manager is really inflexible and will not change the length of the pants to shorts length. Thus is not in synch with Uniqlos claim of being environmentally friendly and promoting a more sustainable earth. I am very disappointed with Uniqlo

Just had a super bad experience at UNIQLO Junction 8 Bishan just now. After I paid and walked out, the alarm suddenly went off. Staff asked someone to follow me out again, but alarm still ring.
Then they asked to check my other recycle bag in front of the entrance, like I steal something. So embarrassing lah, so many people staring at me like I’m a thief.
UNIQLO please fix your alarm system leh, don’t let others go through this kind of malu experience again!

was helping a friend buy tis pants. asked staff if the pants was available. she checked with her colleague and her colleague said it's out of stock confidently so i left. my friend didn't believe what i said as he did called the outlet before asking me for help so he called the outlet back again. the staff that answered the phone then said theres a lot of stock in the outlet... why arent the previous 2 staffs aware of this? how many customers have left w/o this particular pants that they were alr interested to buy??

I am a regular at Uniqlo and I've never encountered a single rude staff in any Uniqlo outlet. They were always welcoming and helpful. But wow. Almost every staff I encountered in this outlet yesterday, 8th April 2024, has some sort of attitude problem or professionalism issue.
First, there was this Indian staff in her late 20s or early 30s, not tall, a little on the plump side with curly hair ponytail. I was looking at some items hung on the wall-side shelf. When I took a step forward to take a closer look, she was about to walk past me IN FRONT, but had to stop because I was apparently blocking HER way. She just froze with an impatient look, and literally waited for me to take a step back so she could pass through, instead of passing past behind me where there's PLENTY of walking space. Just as she'd hoped, I took a step back to give way to her because she was too close for comfort. The second staff I encountered was a young and quite short fair-skinned Chinese staff with her hair burned up, seemingly in her early 20s. As she walked past me, she literally scanned me up and down in a dismissive manner before sauntering away, for no reason. I even had to examine myself in the mirror after that in case my attire might have appeared disheveled or improperly worn. Third staff. A tall Chinese lady probably in her 40s with Malaysian accent when speaking mandarin. She was the first unprofessional looking staff I noticed because she had an obvious sloppy and lazy work attitude when handling clothes. When it's presumably her break time, she went to the fitting room to try out some clothes, maybe it's her own clothes I'm not sure. But she was going in and out of the cubicle while asking a colleague, 'Do I look ok in this?', etc. That was when there were other customers trying out clothes.
I always thought Uniqlo had strict guidelines for customer service, but I guess not???

I bought a pair of thermal pants today and realised it’s the colour that I had. I went back to the Junction 8 branch to do an exchange and was flatly refused an exchange for the below reasons:
1) I do not have physical receipt
2) the Uniqlo app is not proof of purchase
I called to ask my helper to dig out the receipt from the trash bin, and take a screenshot for me. I then went back to the store to show the screenshot, but was still flatly refused an exchange.
I have bought many clothings from Uniqlo and am turned off by the inflexibility of the staff and her supervisor. Both are not empathetic towards customers and rude, and this is really unacceptable for a Japanese company. The world is advancing towards digitalisation and sustainability initiatives, and I cannot believe that Uniqlo is moving backwards in this aspect.
What is the point of having an app? Can I check what would be the SOP for online purchases then? Truly disappointed in the inflexibility of the system/management in Uniqlo, after many years of being loyal customer with Uniqlo. To add, I’m flying off for my holidays tomorrow and this has caused me great inconvenience and unhappiness prior to festive season.
Hello Its Celadera
Staff working in fitting room on today evening - one Indian female and one Chinese female staff were talking inside the fitting room in Malay loudly (i understand few languages) with a lot of cursing words like c*b**, l**j*** badmouth about other staff ( which i don’t care about this part ) …. Please look into this, this is so bad as is a Sunday evening with kids around and customers in the fitting rooms some more. Such an unpleasant experience.

Tonight, one Indian female and one Chinese female staff member in the fitting room were loudly speaking in Malay (I understand a few languages), using many cursing words like c*b** and l**j*** to badmouth other staff (a detail I don't care about). Please look into this; it's unacceptable, especially since it was a Sunday evening with kids around and other customers in the fitting rooms. Such an unpleasant experience.

Uni Qlo is an amazing place to buy clothes. It has all types of fashion. It has winter season, summer season, home clothes, outing clothes and many other types. I bought a dress there and it lasts for 3 years. The clothes don't get stained easily. If you want to by good clothes, I suggest that you should go to Uni Qlo.

I bought a few pants and clothes to use up my birthday voucher which is going to expire tomorrow. The gentleman at counter is really helpful and help me with the redemption of voucher using self service kiosk. He is a bit anxious but he is friendly enough to help me. Other staffs was gossiping talking and laughing around when tidying up clothes (I can understand few languages) which I didn't see that much in tampines branch (tampines they will shout 'welcome to uniqlo' haha).

I was quite surprised with the negative reviews about the Uniqlo Junction 8 outlet. I’m not sure if the staff has changed or they did re training. But I should compliment all the staff here in Uniqlo Junction 8. They were all greeting the customers and proactively handing shopping basket once they noticed your carrying a few garments. I even overheard the customer enquiring for alteration service and the staff at the fitting area provided pretty detailed information. Shopping experience makes it better with a good service so Kudos to Uniqlo Staff at Junction 8. PS: I visited the outlet today around 1pm. :)

Was at J8 outlet to make an exchange for some of the items that I’ve purchased online. I’d like to thank the young, tall, bespectacled gentleman holding the fort at the cashier’s counter (24 Dec, 11am - 12nn) for being so patient with my questions. He apologised for being unable to help with the admin processing of my exchanges and needed the assistance of his supervisor and for taking a longer time than required; I was very impressed by his genuine and calm demeanour. All in all, I was very delighted to be served by him and his supervisor during my visit. Wishing all staff at J8 outlet a Merry Christmas.

I called Uniqlo Bishan regarding an error on the receipt.
The call was escalated to the store manager Mr Kago Hashi, who handled the issue with patience and composure.
I greatly appreciate his assistance and exemplary service, deserving nothing less than a 5-star rating.

Came to this new outlet this morning. Observed that quite a number of staff seem new as they were not so familiar with the products or work processes.
But their attitudes were good & willing to quickly clarify with their colleagues. Keep up the good work!
Note - not enough samples (for trying on) for the different sizes for heattech inner wears, esp when we cannot return once we tried on a new piece.
