My experience with Shakura at Bishan was quite a scam.
Initially, I signed a minimum package together with my mom. After the first session of the package, the consultant mentioned they wanted to sign my mom as a sponsored model, which required us to sign a three-year package. During this, they mentioned complimentary products which they pressured me to choose (Guta Drink). On the receipt, these complimentary products were charged. When I asked, they claimed they needed to include them for system deduction and would add them during the facial. We did not want to argue, so we left it at that.
We realized the product contained fructose, which was not suitable for our health. Hence, I returned them the next day and asked for a replacement. They did not take action or reply at all. I also returned the sunscreen, which I had claimed using so-called points from our purchase, but they also did not respond.
One year and three months later, their consultant gave me another bag of Guta Drink and told me they needed to close this account and wanted me to sign off. I refused the product and did not sign to close the account, as I felt pressured to accept a product they pushed on me, which I had already stated was unsuitable, and a year later they pushed it on me again for acceptance.
I am puzzled and feel this is all a scam. They actually charged me for products which I did not want and never replaced any product for me when I returned them the first time. They also continued to push products on me when I had already given them feedback that they were not suitable.
They are pushy with their sales tactics, and I felt at their mercy as a customer.

They are very pushy, always asking you to buy packages and scaring you by claiming your face has serious problems. Service is very hasty, and you feel that they are just rushing through the steps. - Selin Chia, Bishan.

The service is awesome! My beautician Vernice is wonderful, and the counter staff, such as Li Ting, are very helpful and friendly. The condition of my face has improved a lot and spots are lighter now.

I originally had a lot of spots on my face due to a lack of long-term protection. I learned that Shakura could resolve it, so I came here for treatment. The therapist responsible for my treatment was Miko. The first time, she helped me understand my skin condition and then helped me take care of it.
Miko's service is very good, and she is also very kind. After the treatment, she also showed me the before-and-after comparison, which gave me a lot of confidence. Thank you for giving me such good treatment and service. It is really worth recommending! 👍🏻

I was warmly welcomed by Cha-Ee at their front desk, and she also started my appointment (apologies if I mispronounced your name). Their team also kindly accommodated my change of schedule due to a misunderstanding on my end.
The consultation was carried out in detail, and the treatment plan was explained by Angel Tang. She gave me a very calming, hydrating, and pleasant facial treatment. My skin has been feeling plump post-treatment, and I could see that the Miroko Treatment also diminished the appearance of some of my freckles/spots. Angel was honest and mentioned that not all of my pigmentation would fade or could be effectively tackled by the treatment. I was also given free eye and neck care. There was no hard sell, although I had to rush for a prior commitment after Shakura. Thank you for today, and I will certainly keep you in mind for future similar treatments.

I bought the package, but after buying, they stopped giving any reminders for sessions on WhatsApp. Even after messaging them again, they did not reply. Neither the hotline number picks up, nor do the store staff pick up my calls to reschedule the appointment. I bought a 10-session package, and this is how they are responding on only my second session.
On top of that, they reduced the steps and the time from the first free treatment. On that day, they took really good care, but after I started my package, they stopped sending me reminders, and the service also degraded, which I assumed should have been an upgrade from the free session.
They are just fooling people into buying their expensive packages and then do the bare minimum after buying, with third-grade services. Don't buy their packages; you will just lose your money and get nothing in return.

I had an amazing experience with the facial treatment, thanks to Zoe's professional approach. She was incredibly skilled and made me feel completely relaxed and pampered. The service from Raelyn at the front desk was also outstanding. She helped arrange a comfortable timing for my treatment and made the check-in process so smooth and effortless. Happy with the service provided by Angel. I like her cheerful personality, painless extraction and soothing massage skills, and most importantly, she was not pushy or hard-selling after I stated my position. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The other staff should learn from her. I’ve had facials at Shakura a few times now, and each experience has been consistently great. Cheryl is amazing—she’s patient, gentle, and really thorough. She always helps clean my face, remove blackheads, and treat pimples efficiently. On top of that, she shares helpful skincare tips and things to take note of, which I really appreciate.
The staff at Shakura are also all very friendly and welcoming.
