I would love to give this place 0 stars, as it doesn't even deserve one.
Horrible customer service. I approached a woman, in her 40s, at the counter. I asked about a Merrell shoe and was rudely told it was out of stock. When I asked about other outlets, she didn't even bother to explain or check. Wow, as if I, a customer, owe her a living.
How RSH can survive to this day is really puzzling.
It's better to buy our shoes online with great return policies like Ama*** or Laz***. It's cheaper and offers a happier shopping experience for us consumers.

The lady helping me pick my shoes noticed I was flat-footed and knew which shoes to pick out for me. She approached us as my dad and I were trying on shoes and informed us that the pair we had chosen wouldn't be suitable for me. She was very patient and helpful in ensuring I got the right pair. When I was ready to pay, she asked me to try them once more to really be sure. I appreciate the consideration she has for her customers :) The visit was on July 5, 2022, around 5:10-5:50 PM. A middle-aged lady with a bob haircut assisted us.

I bought a singlet as a gift and twice reminded the staff to remove the price tag. She even told me at the checkout that it was already removed. Guess what? IT’S STILL THERE! Thankfully, I caught it as the gift was being opened, as I had a hunch not to fully trust the staff.

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, I went in, and I understand the staff are under pressure due to the high volume of customers. But when I approached a lady wearing white, carrying two boxes and walking back to the counter, she was so unfriendly. She even rolled her eyes at me when I asked if I could get a new pair of shoes in size 7. I even waited for her, but she continued her own thing. I looked around for staff, but there aren't many of them, and they honestly blend into the crowd of customers.
She should have asked her colleague (who was beside her seconds after she went back to the counter) to assist me when she knew she was occupied. I was honestly kind of shocked to receive such service; I had never experienced this before, and the professionalism was not there.

I visited Royal Sporting House hoping to buy a badminton racket today, but to my disappointment, the shop only stocked tennis rackets. It’s frustrating that a sports shop doesn’t carry essential equipment for a popular sport like badminton. To make matters worse, when I asked the staff for help, they didn’t even bother to check if there was another nearby place where I could find a badminton racket. The lack of variety and poor customer service left me very unsatisfied. I will not be returning to this shop.

Disappointing sales experience. Sales assistant behind the counter did not even bother helping me with my shoe size. She said, "You should know your size. Everyone who comes here knows their size," when I asked her if she could help me with my exact size. She didn't even move from the counter or attempt to help me. This was disappointing and unlike what I've experienced in other stores. I was put off by the attitude and did not buy the other items in my basket.

Visited the store today (18/11/24, 8:30pm-9pm). The sales lady glared at me the entire time I was browsing their apparel. I didn't misplace anything and put items back where they belonged, but after I moved on to another section, she would visibly huff and puff to seemingly "correct" how I placed items back. This made my experience there very uncomfortable. No issues with the sales guy, though!

Hahaha, all the reviews were right about the appalling service from the guy there. I thought it was a joke when I saw all the bad ratings throughout the last few years...
But hey, I just bought what I wanted and left. Service is bad alright, but I got what I wanted. Just Google what you need and don't expect the guy to do anything for you except perhaps get a pair of shoes from the storage and ring you up. The girl and lady working there are fine, though.

Extremely bad service and a deceptive shop. Bought 3 shorts with a 50% discount, but the size didn't fit. Staff beforehand said it was eligible for a size exchange. Went back 3 days later for a size exchange, and staff flatly refused to honor the discount. Staff was very curt about the discount and refused to help. Please avoid the shop to avoid the nightmare.
