Went there last Saturday morning with my 2 grandkids. By 8 AM, the place was already busy. I would have had breakfast elsewhere if it weren't for my grandkids. I ordered through their mobile app. For unknown reasons, my food was delayed. After 2 requests to check on my order, my food was finally served after 20 minutes. But they were the wrong items! And this happened twice. Something is wrong with the process!

Disorganised collection system and rude staff. Why have the screen if the info is not going to be accurate? Call-outs are unreliable, especially if the staff mumbles. Noticed this at other outlets as well. McD Singapore needs to review their processes because standards have really dropped over the years.

Absolutely Horrible Experience at McDonald's Junction 8 – $39 Wasted
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent takeaway order at McDonald's Junction 8. I paid $39++ for my meal, and the service I received was beyond unacceptable.
First of all, the service was painfully slow. The staff seemed disorganized and unsure of what they were doing. Even with a relatively simple order—three meals and some a la carte apple pies—they still managed to mess it up. Despite paying for everything, they completely forgot to include my apple pies in the takeaway bag. It’s not like I ordered a lot; they just didn’t care enough to check.
To make matters worse, I had to wait far longer than necessary, only to walk away with an incomplete order. I honestly don’t know what the staff were doing behind the counter; they were slow, inattentive, and clearly not managed well.
This level of service is unacceptable from a brand like McDonald's. I’ve never been this angry about a takeaway order before. If your team cannot handle basic service, then something is seriously wrong. Change your management team, because they are clearly not doing their jobs properly. I’ve seen more efficient service at hawker stalls run by aunties—no exaggeration.
What I expect is an official apology from the Junction 8 outlet. A review of the staff and management at this location is also warranted, as this experience shows clear neglect in both service standards and customer care.
This isn’t just a one-off mistake; it reflects how poorly this outlet is being run. Do better.

Another outlet with super slow service.
I ordered at 11:05 AM. The screen showed the order was ready, but the item wasn't out until 11:20 AM. I asked the service staff, but I was told the order was still being prepared. What's the use of having a screen stating the order is ready when the item is still being prepared? Fast food is becoming slow food.

They have tons of orders, but a very small and unpleasant waiting area. However, I have to commend the male manager on shift this evening; he’s super on the ball and constantly directing the staff to prepare food and push orders out quickly. Kudos to him.

Ordered breakfast from this outlet. Midway through eating, I noticed my hash brown had a piece of mysterious black stuff embedded in it. 🤢
Moral of the story: Please always check what you’re eating before biting into it.

My double fillet o fish slices were super out of shape yesterday. The uncle handing out the food didn't ask if I needed any sauce, but luckily I checked; otherwise, I would have gone back without any chilli or ketchup. I think the basic protocol should be to ask if customers require any sauces or other items before handing out orders.

A 90-minute wait on July 26th, 2025. Everyone was clustered near the collection point, confused and bewildered about whether they had missed their order. Spoiler, they didn't.
The machine lies. Your queue number will mysteriously appear then disappear like the great Houdini.
It was a clusterdark of epic proportions; I proudly crown Junction 8 McDonald's the worst outlet in Singapore, nay, of Southeast Asia.
Shame on the manager who couldn't keep order; shame on the staff who lost my receipt and left my food on the counter for an eternity; and shame on me for buying junk food.
Beware if you dare tread into this hellhole; purgatory awaits you.
