Fast service from the two boys serving us! The food was okay for its price. The Alaska pollock was quite salty; I preferred their dory. The chicken was thick and crispy! My Coke Zero was a bit flat. They also didn't give me my tartar sauce. My fries were stale, but my friend's ones were fresh and crispy. It really makes a difference because they tasted so cold and stale. We also got their churros for $4.90. It was exactly 15cm as advertised, which is the same size as my hand! It was piping hot, crunchy, and sugary, together with the thick chocolate dip! Their strawberry/raspberry dip was too watery and not that nice. It also feels a bit bad to use takeaway boxes and plastic utensils just so LJS can save money. Let's try to use reusable items, please.

You know, this place is actually a home for everyone. When I say everyone, I mean literally *anything* — birds were the royalty of this wacky place, with "bums" running the place. Hella dirty, but you know, my food was worth it, and the wait was pretty short. I told the cashier guy I'd be splitting the price with my friend, and he proceeded to dump my notes on the counter by throwing them back at me and giving me the cash with a bombastic side eye. How lovely! Of course, the beautiful scenery of birds flying into the restaurant *really* made my day. It's quite cool how the floor and the kitchen really looked suitable for birds to stay, you know. Great food, better counter, and best birds. I guess I'm coming back? I don't know what the heck, man.

The staff is fantastic! I love them! They are very nice and helpful. The food quality at Long John Silver's is much higher now, and I am impressed! The packaging has changed, and the fish is much tastier now! The only thing is that the place is a bit old and needs some renovation.

This place has gotten from bad to worse. It's been a few years, with no improvement at all. Since before COVID, I have patronized this joint because it's the one nearest to my home. The problems all started when the battered chicken planks were too thick, and all the cooking staff (which changes every now and then) only followed specific instructions to fry them. The chicken was fried until it was impossible to slice with the plastic knife. When you manage to cut into it, the chicken is half-cooked. They still don't know the dangers of eating half-cooked chicken. Once, I wrote to their website, and their manager contacted me. When I got there, he offered to refry the chicken and fish at a lower temperature and for a longer time so everything would be fully cooked. After the manager left, the food was back to being half-raw again. Throughout these few years, either the size of the chicken keeps changing, or the chicken is still not hot enough. I always bought takeaway so I could refry it myself. Yesterday, I went again; my order was a full 10-minute wait despite being second in the queue. It's okay to wait for 10 minutes, but again, I got pale yellow, half-cooked chicken. The signature battered fries are no longer served; instead, they use pathetic, budget frozen fries... Look hard enough at the cross-section of the chicken, and you'll spot translucent meat. THAT'S not cooked. Check out the color; that's golden brown to you? The fries? Sad.

The first thing anyone will notice upon entering this outlet is the mould and dirt on the ceiling. I feel bad for the employees due to daily exposure to this. I'm not sure if it's the shop's or the mall's responsibility to fix, but it's clear this has been around for ages. We only came in because other places had long queues. We will not return.

I came here to grab dinner. This was my first visit to this LJS outlet. It's quite a small outlet located at Junction 8. The tables and seats are squeezed together, leaving little room for customers. There are also no self-order kiosks, so you have to use a QR code on the table to order. The food was prepared quickly, and I received my food fast 👍. The meal tasted alright, but the Coca-Cola I received did not taste right. I ordered a Regular Coca-Cola as part of the meal, but when I drank it, it tasted like Coca-Cola Lite or Zero. It was definitely not Regular Coca-Cola. So overall, it isn't a great outlet to visit, but I still like LJS food. If there aren't many options I like nearby, I might patronise it again. Hopefully, the store could be renovated or service could be improved. 👍

I have LJS quite often. The last time was last week. This was the first time I was served so few fries. It was also the first time I saw spicy chicken with so little paprika powder, compared to other outlets. I still had to jump through hoops by ordering through a QR code and keying in bank card info for payment. Visited on 2025-03-21 17:45

The sandwiches today (July 5, 2025) were very well made and absolutely delicious! The fish was freshly fried and the toasts were nicely browned. It was a much better experience compared to previous visits. Previously, the toasts were mainly white and soft, with no effort made to toast them properly, and the fish were hard and dry. I guess they were prepared by different cooks. I hope you can keep up the good standard. Good food will attract more customers, which is important especially in this climate.

Unpleasant experience with an older male staff member today. All I wanted was a tub of chili crab sauce, but I was ignored when I went to the counter. The guy continued fulfilling earlier orders, going through three order slips without acknowledging my presence. Seeing a queue of slips still waiting, I spoke up to place my order. He continued as if he hadn't heard me. I repeated myself, and he finally shot back rudely, "I know, I know!" Later, as he was keying in my order, I mentioned I just needed the tub and no bag. He looked at me and again impatiently replied, "I know, have to wait for the kitchen to prepare!" However, he then went into the kitchen and returned with a half-filled tub. As I didn't want to agitate him further, I apologized and even thanked him, thinking he was helping me get my order quickly. He did not reply. When I got home, I discovered a thick layer of oil floating on top of the roughly 50ml of "sauce"! It dawned on me that he was probably being spiteful rather than helpful.

The service attitude was very poor. On August 9th at 11 AM, the staff were too busy packing orders and seemed unwilling to take new ones. They simply brushed off customers, directing them to order via the app. However, their spicy nuggets are not available to order on the app. This meant I had to place orders both on the app and over the counter. How troublesome and inconvenient is this?! The staff's attitude was consistently poor! Furthermore, the app does not allow payment by mobile payment methods, only PayNow. The system needs to be better organised and made more convenient. Please train your staff to have a better service attitude. Lastly, the air conditioning is poor and run down, and the ceiling looks like it's about to fall apart.
