Since she has left the company, I just walked into Laneige at Junction 8 and was served by Peyyi. She is friendly and shared the promotion offer before I purchased my products. Even though I just redeemed a sampling kit, I understand it's while stocks last, but staff could have just informed me it was out of stock in advance instead of straight away asking me to press the redeem code. After pressing redeem, they then told me it was out of stock. If the company doesn't really want to give away samples, please don't advertise! Banning Laneige.

There is one lady staff, fair-skinned and skinny, with a ponytail. She seemed very sarcastic when I came in to make an enquiry about dark eye circles. She didn't even bother to ask what the cause of mine was, and she assumed that mine was aging, which is not the case as I'm not that old and my eye bags are caused by pigmentation. When I suggested trying other, more normal options, she gave me a dismissive look, as though she couldn't be bothered to serve me anymore. What an attitude! Such poor service.
They didn't seem to realize that we customers do have proper knowledge of skincare and tried to push more expensive products than normal ones, like retinol. There was no smile at all, just a stern expression throughout, and she still sarcastically said that the dark eye circles can cure wrinkles, which I clearly don't have on my face. Even if others had them, she shouldn't be so rude, especially since I don't have them. The whole atmosphere was cold and unfriendly, and I didn't feel welcome.
I think they clearly choose their customers, being nice only to some and judging the rest. Avoid at all costs. Even her colleague didn't sound sympathetic when I gave feedback about her attitude; she was still defensive and kept arguing with me, trying to prove my lack of knowledge. But don't expect me to buy something from rude staff who showed absolutely no respect for customers. I used to always buy from Laneige, but now I'm having second thoughts.

Janice patiently listened to my skin concerns and my needs for a Christmas gift for my colleague, and offered thoughtful advice tailored not only to my needs but also to my budget. She explained each product carefully, making me feel confident in my choices. I absolutely loved trying the tester, which convinced me to purchase a few serums and moisturizers to treat myself this Christmas, and some Christmas gifts for my colleague. Today I visited this Laneige boutique at J8. I'd say the promoter I met today was the coldest salesperson I have ever met. She didn't smile or promote any products; she just answered minimally. The entire visit felt like a mere question-and-answer session. I was looking for a hydrating range for my daughter and hoping that she could help me find suitable items, but she just kept quiet, waiting for me to ask questions about her products. She also didn't ask me to try any of her products. Of course, she also didn't offer me any samples or a paper bag for my purchase. It's no wonder there were no customers in this boutique.
