Had the acne and glow treatment. Therapist would always introduce the chemical and functions during treatment One of the most uncomfortable chairs ever. Wish they have proper beds to lie on.

The auntie serving me on 20 Oct at around 7+pm was so rough with my face. There’s a sign outside the shop to ask to treat the staff with respect yet she didn’t treat customer’s face with respect. The way she used the suction thing was like hammering on my face, hitting on my face bone. The way she used the scrubber was even worse. She was like scraping so hard off my face. She even used the corners of the scrubber to scrape which I don’t think that’s the right thing to do as I have never encountered this from other outlets. As I was having a huge pimple that day, the way she squeezed my pimple was so painful and I am not even sure she squeezed it the right way. It’s so red after that with the pus etc. Feels damn unprofessional and not well-trained. I am really worried that it will leave a mark or scar on my face 😢 I believe nobody wants this to ever happen to them. My cheeks area were red after the facial and this is the first time that my skin was red after facial with Kskin. Worst experience ever. Whole facial session was unbearable that I was hoping that it will stop/be over soon. Customers should not have to go through this bad service just because the facial cost $28. Will not go back to kskin again due to the inconsistent service across different outlets. Such a nightmare

What a great first experience at Kskin J8 outlet. I tried the Cleanse + Glow combo and was served by Adeline, who was very friendly and assuring throughout the whole session. Knowing it was my 1st time there, Adeline walked me through the whole process from registration, recommended treatment for my skin to explaining the different steps before she started the procedure. It was absolutely fuss free with no hard sell of packages and sales talk during the session. Will definitely visit again soon!

Nice no-frills non-pushy no-commitment facial place. I liked how the therapist didn’t promote their facial products or try to upsell you. You can get a 15-minute express facial for 28 or a 30-minute facial for 50. I opted for the 30-minute session. I got to say they should really clean the ceiling and exhaust fan cos that’s the first thing you notice as you lean back. For a place that aims to clean your face they could use a bit of that on their clinic too. My therapist was good, but I wish she explained what she was doing (granted a lot of places I’ve been don’t either). Overall, was a good experience.

During the treatment, she will explain every single products before she apply on your face. She made it an effort to check whether you are comfortable periodically during 30 mins treatment. Adeline is a skilled beautician who gently and thoroughly cleansed my face. My face felt clean and soft after the facial. No pain during the extraction. She also recommended me some Kskin products which are marketed as suitable for my skin type. However, she was rather persistent in the recommendation although I shared my reservations. After awhile, it felt hard to say no. Not sure if it’s company policy for beauticians to sell products. Hope the product is indeed effective.
