Food Junction at Junction 8 represents Singapore's vibrant hawker culture elevated to a modern food court setting, occupying Level 4 of Bishan's premier shopping mall with a mission to gather the best of local and international cuisines under one roof. Operating daily from 10am to 10pm, this popular dining destination brings together diverse food traditions from across Asia, allowing families and individuals to experience Singapore's rich culinary heritage alongside international favorites. The food court's strategic location within Junction 8 makes it easily accessible via Bishan MRT station, serving as the perfect dining complement to shopping and entertainment activities.
The extensive food selection spans traditional local favorites including Bar Chor Mee, Hokkien Mee, and Fu Xiang Signatures' renowned Bishan's Best Curry Chicken, alongside international options featuring Japanese cuisine from Washoku Goen with generous portions of Chicken Katsu Omelet Curry Rice, and authentic Heng Hwa dishes from the Putian stall. A dedicated Halal-certified section ensures inclusivity with Japanese cuisine, chicken rice, hot pot soups, and teppanyaki-style offerings. The diverse pricing, with dishes ranging from S.50 to S.10 per set, provides excellent value while maintaining quality standards that reflect Singapore's commitment to accessible, delicious food.
Food Junction's thoughtfully designed environment features comfortable seating arrangements and scenic murals that create a welcoming atmosphere for extended dining experiences. The food court offers comprehensive accessibility with wheelchair-friendly facilities, multiple payment options including mobile wallets and credit cards, and flexible service choices including dine-in, takeaway, and on-site ordering. Whether seeking a quick lunch during shopping, family dinner after entertainment, or exploring Singapore's diverse food culture, Food Junction Junction 8 provides a convenient, affordable, and authentic culinary journey that embodies the mall's commitment to serving the Bishan community's diverse tastes and preferences.
DO NOT recommend the Xiao Man Niu Mala (located at the end of the foodcourt). There was a lack of pricing transparency and integrity because they charged the frozen prawn (with tail) as "Assorted Ball" for $1/pc instead of "Seafood" for $4.50/ 100g. Guess what, the prawns were not even 100g (see the photos).

Had the Beauty Nutritious Soup - ABC soup ($6) which was sufficiently tasty - not amazing but wasn't bland. Meat was render and fell off the bone easily. Decent serving of carrot and potato too - huge cuts.
I got the Thunder Tea Rice - add on @ $4 (UP. $6.20) only with a soup purchase. Rice portion was huge with decent amount of ingredients.
Not the tastiest meal, but filled a hungry man's stomach well (with a good nutrition spread, I guess) for a total of $10.
Lower scores for service and atmosphere cause.. It's a food court- let's be real.
Would eat again.

Extremely bad attitude and behaviour. We were at Junction 8 (Food Junction) just to buy 2 cans of drinks being scolded by Staff name Auntie Tan Guek Ing and Auntie Bing. They were 2 being cashier at the cashier counter on 10th June 2025, 8:15pm. We waited for 20 mins to be served. We were there at 1st. But your staff were serving other customers from any o how. Bad services.

I told her i dun want. She said beansprout is mushroom type and say beansprout already mix with meat water cannot put back. I insist i dun want. Cheapbeansprout is mushroom statement lost my trust

Patronised the recently opened Penang Chendul stall. Ordered the mee siam ($8.20) and assam laksa ($6.90), asked for the mee siam promo set at $9.90 which came with a bowl of chendul. Instead of charging $9.90 (mee siam set) + $6.90 (assam laksa), was charged $9.90 + $8.20. Asked the staff and the young man replied that's how his boss instructed him to do!!! Eventually the foodcourt manager reversed the charge and I paid the correct amount. First and last time for this stall!

Tried this china noodle stall Wuhan hot dry noodles, had minced pork hot n spicy noodle $7.80. Big big disappointment, beside noodle, 2 leaf of veg n soup there is some peanuts n few pieces of 3 tiny minced pork that's all. Whole bowl of noodle nothing else, l m purely just eating noodle soup wo any ingredient. Feel so cheated, will never order anything from this stall again. Highly not recommended!

Not that great, to be honest. During peak hour EVERY SINGLE SEAT is either occupied or choped and the queues are so long. The air-conditioning is good but the only good food there is the Pepper Lunch. However, it takes about *FORTY MINUTES* ☠️ to get your food there. That's technically the only complaint, but it's really inconvenient when you're rushing for time. I suggest that there should be more seats nearer to the more popular stalls.

Best Korean Fried Chicken in Bishan area, located inside Junction 8 Food Junction. Definitely deserves a five stars rating!
The fried chicken itself is juicy and not dry. And they are not stingy with the sauce! Fried chicken drench with garlic soy sauce is the most recommended item on the menu! Have to say the standard has been consistent as we have been back here for a lot of times and every time the taste is the same.

🌟 Bishan Junction 8 Food Discovery: First Taste of Wuhan Hot Dry Noodles! 🍜
Today, I stumbled upon a new eatery at Bishan Junction 8 food court and tried their Wuhan hot dry noodles. The noodles were aromatic, coated with homemade sesame sauce and topped with pork and diced carrots, offering a deliciously layered flavor. 🥢
Besides the noodles, their spicy meat sauce and offerings like sesame chicken wings, juicy chicken drumsticks, and nuggets were incredibly tasty and a must-try. Overall, it was a great culinary experience, perfect for anyone looking to spice up their taste buds. 🍗✨

Missing ChongQing food I went to order the Mala version of the grilled fish. Ordered half a fish from the grilled fish stall. The Mala spicy version is no way near near the Mala version fm CQ. It’s more fragrant and spiciness tapered to the local version of Mala. Fish is fresh and tasty served in a generous portion. Will revisit again!

This is why i come to food junction. The stalls here are not cheap and this is the only stall why i come and even though it may not be often but i still come and order from this stall. Go order from this stall Popoki Nasi Lemak and the Beef Rendang Set is delicious to eat. I will come back here again to eat at this stall.

4.8/5🌟 - "Korean Friend Chicken" - Tried the Garlic Soy flavour, chicken and fries🍟 was juicy and flavourful, but sauce was a little too salty.
4.8/5🌟 - "Mala xiang guo" right beside "What the Fish", taste price and portion is 👍 too.

The 雷茶饭 stall @ Bishan Junction 8 Food Court is a delightful and authentic Hakka dish. The perfectly cooked rice pairs well with fresh, finely chopped vegetables and nuts. Creating a pleasing blend of textures and flavors. The aromatic herbal tea broth ties everything together, offering a unique and satisfying taste. They also have a variety of soups to go with. Prices are also reasonable.
Service is prompt and friendly, enhancing the dining experience. For those seeking a nutritious and flavorful meal, this 雷茶饭 @ Bishan Junction 8 Food Court is a must-try.

Nice spacious and clean food court. Some interesting food aside from the usual local ones.

Quite a big food court with a huge variety. There is another area on the right of the food court when you enter, don’t miss it. Tips: the seats in this area are probably the last to be filled up, so try your luck here. They sell all the spicy food like curry rice, pepper lunch, Ayam penyet, etc. The range is wide although I have not tried all the stalls, those I tried are reasonably good. Prices are reasonable.
