Food is average, service is good. The atmosphere is noisy, and the serving speed is slow. We ordered 7 dishes, but after 30 minutes, only 3 were served.

The garlic pork is my favorite here, and xiao long bao is good, with relatively thin and consistent skin thickness. As for the la-mian, i have tried better tasting one elsewhere.

Great food and service as usual! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The vegetable noodle soup was light yet satisfying, and the steamed vegetable dumplings were delicate and tasty. We also enjoyed the pork chop fried rice, which had just the right amount of seasoning, and the classic xiao long bao, which never disappoint. Service was prompt, polite, and efficient despite the busy crowd. Always a reliable spot for a comforting and delicious meal. Highly recommended!

Like a factory churning out comfort chinese cuisine. Never fail to disappoint and always sets the standards 🥟💯 the long waiting time is helped by their q-management system. Do expect some noise during peak periods, but it is acceptable.

Always a Comfort, But Some Hits and Misses This Time 🍜 Din Tai Fung will always have a special place in my heart — it’s my family’s go-to comfort food. We visited the Bishan outlet on a Monday night around 8pm after a run, and despite how packed it was, the wait time was still reasonable. We ordered our usual Xiao Long Bao, but unfortunately, the air-con vents were blasting, and the dumplings cooled down really quickly, which was quite a bummer. If you’re dining here, I’d recommend popping them in your mouth fast to enjoy them warm 😅 The fried rice took quite a while to arrive, and while the pork was tender and flavourful, the rice was a little mushy this round — perhaps due to the dinner rush and high volume of orders. Still, the overall experience was decent, and Din Tai Fung remains a reliable classic — just with a few off moments this time.

DTF’s food, as per normal, always clean and nice. Staff at Junction 8 branch are very nice and proactive. They saw my mum sneezed and coughed, they quickly brought warm water for her.

I simply love dim sum. I have tried this restaurant chain before at other locations. This one is fine too but in a shopping mall so a bit more chaotic. This is a great place to come for dumplings 🥟 and this type of Chinese cuisine.

It is one of the favourite branches. The service is excellent as usual, and the food quality is superb. We bring our family here 😊 this time. We love their beef brisket noodle🍜 comparing fried rice. Xiao Long Bao is a must ordered. Good grade of vinegar and skilled ginger slice. Keep it up. 👍
Another Big Bite
Popular with my family because the Xiao long Bao is simply tasty. The thin skin and flavorful meat with pouch of soup stock to be eaten with shredded ginger & black vinegar! Shrimp paste chicken and Shanghainese drunken chicken are succulent. Always in our order is the pork belly with sweet savory garlic sauce! Highly recommended.

The lunch we had at Din Tai Fung were simple but sumptuous. 4 dishes were ordered but they were filling. Since it was lunch time, the atmosphere was kind of noisy for me. Price was reasonable for me. There are many Din Tai Fung outlets but I prefer the one at Bishan.

Tried their new Black Sesame Mochi Xiao Long Bao. Dont taste nice as the skin hardened after a while and not like Mochi which is soft and chewy. Feedback to cashier and she is not that friendly too.

It's been years since my last visit to Ding Tai Feng, and I revisited this branch with a group for lunch. Despite being a weekday, the restaurant was bustling with customers. I ordered my favourite trio: Oriental Salad in Special Vinegar Sauce $6, Noodle in Pickled Mustard and Shredded Pork $11.50 and Drunkard Chicken $9.80. While the familiar flavours were comforting, I couldn't shake the feeling that the portions had shrunk. The noodles, in particular, seemed less intense than I remembered. We also ordered the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao and Steamed Chocolate Lava Bun for sharing but found them underwhelming. The service, however, remained impeccable. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I will probably only return if I am craving for the noodles in the area. Tip: There's a 15% using GrabPay.

Located on level 1 of Junction 8. Most importantly, there is a need to go early during meal times to avoid the long queue. Menu could be seen by scanning the QR code. Ordering was done easily using your own phone. Prices could still be considered reasonable. The food took about 15 mins of preparation time before it was served. The timing was still acceptable if you took into consideration of the crowd. Food portion seemed not to be enough for an adult. Service was prompt and quick. Overall experience was still good.

As usual, it's what you can expect from any Din Tai Fung outlet. They're well known for up keeping and standardising their food and service quality across all their outlets and this outlet did not disappoint. Great food, service and atmosphere. I ordered their fried rice with shrimps and pork chop, along with their spicy hot and sour soup, prawn pancake, and some xiao long baos. All the dishes I ordered were great. I've been to this outlet and also visited other outlets many times and I knew what taste to expect from their dishes. This time round they had a promotional item, their chilli crab xiao long bao and it was amazing. Really tastes like you're eating chilli crab. It was refreshing to try a xiao long bao from Din Tai fung that uses a different soup base. I have been to this outlet many times since it's the one nearest to my place and every time it doesn't disappoint. I've always had a good dining experience here and will continue visiting from time to time.

It is one of **our** favourite branches. The service is excellent as usual, and the food quality is superb. We **brought** our family here this time.
