Unscrupulous merchants Eu Yan Sang is more effective and cost-effective. You get what you pay for, and you won't be angry. The packaging is not leaky.

Good place to get my herbal drinks when I’m feeling under the weather. Staff was a bit grouchy and unbothered by me.

Very nice sales person. I lost my voice, and he recommended I drink some boiled dry bee stuff, and it aided my recovery! He also recommended another one with chua pei to relieve my cough.

I went to the Junction 8 HockHua store this afternoon at 1:17 PM to buy two bottles of China Barley Drink. I noticed a price increase from $2 to $2.20 each, meaning two bottles now cost $4.40, up from $4. I asked the cashier why there was an increase, as a 10% increase seemed significant. She responded rudely and sarcastically that I should cook it myself if I found it too expensive. This kind of rude and unprofessional staff is not fit to serve customers. Singapore's current inflation is about 4%, and the recent GST increase is 1%. However, many other stores are implementing unreasonable 10-30% increases in consumer food prices. Perhaps the government could look into such stores and assess these price increases.
