Whether seeking the latest blockbusters, international films, or special 4D experiences, Golden Village Bishan delivers premium entertainment that has established cinema-going as an essential part of the Junction 8 lifestyle experience.
Disappointed with the service provided by Chen Sook and her male colleague. We went up to the empty service counter while they were in the vicinity doing other work. They just ignored us for 2 minutes, then served the group that reached after us first. When it got to our turn, Chen Sook walked away in the middle of serving us to complete another task. While I can appreciate that the service counter staff have multiple tasks to complete, a simple 'give me 1 minute, please' would have bought a lot of patience. Spoiled my GV experience before i even stepped into the theatre.

this is the worst cinema i’ve been to so far & i think it is in dire need of a renovation 😭 i was really shocked when i entered the hall & realised that all the seats were on flat ground, which means that those seated at the back will be blocked by people in front. the aircon was not v strong as well & i felt that i needed to raise my head throughout the movie.
this was not a comfortable experience & i do not recommend coming here ❌ definitely will not be coming back!

The male staff at the ticket checking section was kinda rude. Been few times and even we went in for the toilet before the show. We approach him and he just rudely replied. I doubt he's a part timer as been seeing few times. His behaviour does create a bad image of the Company.

employee was rude and kept rushing us to buy the tickets and deciding our drinks

Staff does not seems to be well trained to handle the promotions offered by the theater.
Bought a hsbc platinum movie card - all day, back in may 2023 and today when I wanted to use the card the staff refused to allow and say that the card is not valid even though the card CLEARLY states that it is valid ALL DAY with the exception days listed clearly.
End up i had use my new card platinum all day card which I bought today (the exact same card) and surprisingly this "new card" is acceptable simply because the 2 cards are different colors. So now my old card is expiring and I still have tickets inside.
May have been easier if I have went directly to the self help counter instead.

Cny Jack Neo movie is good. Seats are good. But definitely not good if a full cinema of elderly and senior citizens.
There are no ushers to judge the situation to allow exit the crowd via the entrance. So we have these senior citizens complaining every step that they take to walk down the 3 flights of stairs. The movie was 2hrs long. The handles of the stairs are not well maintained too.

The CNY Jack Neo movie was good, and the seats were good. However, it was definitely not ideal with a full cinema of senior citizens. The movie was two hours long. Additionally, the stair handrails were not well maintained either.

Aqasha was very diligent. He was at the ticket counter alone, checked on our eligibility (senior citizens) and processed the transaction for sale of movie tickets promptly. He also helped out at the retail section. He displayed proactive attitude towards customer service.

Visited this cinema today to try out their D-Box format for the newly released movie Doctor Strange. I absolutely loved it, no doubt about that. The seat vibrated according to the script and unlike other cinemas in Singapore, the air conditioning was just right, so I did not even had to put on my jacket!

Mr Lou was very kind and helped give advice while selecting the seating arrangement in the theatre!

The past few days I had encountered an issue to redeem my movie e-vouchers. This manager by the name of Hazim at GVBS provided patience to assist me. Even though the issue did not resolve on the spot, he still make the effort to escalate the issue and get back to me when it is resolved.

GV bishan have DBox chair cost $19 during weekend. It is a few dollar more than the usual movie ticket. It is worth to try at least once in your lifetime as you can control the vibration (+ or - depending on how much you like it) of the chair while you watch the movie! Super cool experience! Highly recommend! 👍 …
