Nope nope nope. I’m sorry but she ruined my hair. I have a longish pixie and in an effort to layer it she trimmed the under way too short and now I have all these ridiculous short hairs sticking out!!! NOPE

Used to be good but had a disappointing cut today. I asked for 2 inches to be cut off, U-shape bottom with layers. The result looked like a thick chop-off, so i ask the hairdresser if she could thin the bottom part of my hair A LITTLE. I emphasised A LITTLE twice. Hairdresser went way overboard and I ended up with a V-bottom shaggy hair cut thats at least 4-5inches shorter than my original length. She did a pretty careless job with my fringe. Though she was polite enough to ask if I would like her to rework my fringe, I was so traumatised by the entire haircut that I told her I will “fix” my fringe on my own when I get home. I took so long to grow out my hair hoping to curl it in a couple of months, only to have her chop it off with a shaggy cut beyond repair. A middle age professional with a shaggy hair cut is really not the best look. Sigh. Ending note: I thought long and hard about leaving this review. Its not my intent to condemn the hairdresser. She may be better with men’s or children’s haircuts. At least she was polite throughout. But when a hairdresser does not understand the assignment the first round, I should have known better not to request for a fix. Expectedly, the “fix” will only be worse. If you get a bad haircut too, my advice is to just walk out while the damage isn’t worse.

I had my hair cut on 28 Jul 2023 afternoon and have to trim a portion of my hair the next day due to the bad haircut. The person also knocked his scissors onto my head several times. The hair cuts at EC House used to be good or decent in the past but it is now simply the worst. This will be my last visit to EC House.

I wanted to change notes but the male staff's attitude showed an impatient and rude tone. He told me didn't have notes to change and didn't have other payment method. So I walked to Kcuts at 2nd storey where I can pay with apps, accepts cashless payments moreover is $2 cheaper than EC House.

After he cut my top short I went to 4/10. End result did not look good. Would only recommend for quick haircuts and if you know exactly what you want, but there are other way cheaper options like New Hairstory or Snip Avenue.

Depends on which hair dresser serves you. 😊 But i must comment that Cindy Goh is great. Very friendly and thoughtful! Took my son there upteen times and was very lucky to be served by her and her other colleagues.

After he cut my top short, I went to 4/10. End result did not look good. She cut my long hair really well into a shoulder length layered cut, and she even gave advice on how to maintain my hair well :) affordable and worth the money, better than some salons I’ve visited!
