Tried their new Black Sesame Mochi Xiao Long Bao. It didn't taste nice, as the skin hardened after a while and wasn't like Mochi, which is soft and chewy. I gave feedback to the cashier, and she was not that friendly either.

The lunch we had at Din Tai Fung **was** simple but sumptuous. 4 dishes were ordered but they were filling. Since it was **lunchtime**, the atmosphere was kind of noisy. Price was reasonable. There are many Din Tai Fung outlets, but I prefer the one at Bishan.
Always Big Bites
Popular with my family because the Xiao long Bao is simply tasty. It features thin skin and flavorful meat with a pouch of soup stock, to be eaten with shredded ginger and black vinegar. Shrimp paste chicken and Shanghainese drunken chicken are succulent. Always in our order is the pork belly with sweet savory garlic sauce! Highly recommended.

It is one of **our** favourite branches. The service is excellent as usual, and the food quality is superb. We **brought** our family here this time. We love their beef brisket **noodles compared to** fried rice. Xiao Long Bao is a **must-order**. The vinegar is of good quality, and the ginger is finely sliced. Keep it up.

The food was okay, but not everything was pictured. However, I'm posting this review because of one particular server (on April 30th, between 6 and 7 PM). He was attentive enough to know I still had dessert left. Kudos to the tall, non-Chinese server. His attitude was very good. Please pass on my compliments to your staff. He is worth keeping.

I simply love dim sum. I have tried this restaurant chain before at other locations. This one is fine too, but it's in a shopping mall, so it's a bit more chaotic. This is a great place for dumplings 🥟 and this type of Chinese cuisine.

DTF's food is always clean and nice, as per normal. Staff at the Junction 8 branch are very nice and proactive. They saw my mum sneezing and coughing, and quickly brought warm water for her.

Always a Comfort, But Some Hits and Misses This Time 🍜 Din Tai Fung will always have a special place in my heart — it’s my family’s go-to comfort food. We visited the Bishan outlet on a Monday night around 8pm after a run, and despite how packed it was, the wait time was still reasonable. We ordered our usual Xiao Long Bao, but unfortunately, the air-con vents were blasting, and the dumplings cooled down very quickly, which was quite a bummer. If you’re dining here, I’d recommend popping them in your mouth fast to enjoy them warm 😅 The fried rice took quite a while to arrive, and while the pork was tender and flavourful, the rice was a little mushy this round — perhaps due to the dinner rush and high volume of orders. Still, the overall experience was decent, and Din Tai Fung remains a reliable classic — just with a few off moments this time.

Like a factory churning out comfort Chinese cuisine. It never disappoints and always sets the standard 🥟💯. The long waiting time is helped by their queue management system. Expect some noise during peak periods, but it's acceptable.

Great food and service as usual! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The vegetable noodle soup was light yet satisfying, and the steamed vegetable dumplings were delicate and tasty. We also enjoyed the pork chop fried rice, which had just the right amount of seasoning, and the classic xiao long bao, which never disappoints. Service was prompt, polite, and efficient despite the busy crowd. Always a reliable spot for a comforting and delicious meal. Highly recommended!
