Tried their new Black Sesame Mochi Xiao Long Bao. Dont taste nice as the skin hardened after a while and not like Mochi which is soft and chewy. Feedback to cashier and she is not that friendly too.

It's been years since my last visit to Ding Tai Feng, and I revisited this branch with a group for lunch. Despite being a weekday, the restaurant was bustling with customers. I ordered my favourite trio: Oriental Salad in Special Vinegar Sauce $6, Noodle in Pickled Mustard and Shredded Pork $11.50 and Drunkard Chicken $9.80. While the familiar flavours were comforting, I couldn't shake the feeling that the portions had shrunk. The noodles, in particular, seemed less intense than I remembered. We also ordered the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao and Steamed Chocolate Lava Bun for sharing but found them underwhelming. The service, however, remained impeccable. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I will probably only return if I am craving for the noodles in the area. Tip: There's a 15% using GrabPay.

Located on level 1 of Junction 8. Most importantly, there is a need to go early during meal times to avoid the long queue. Menu could be seen by scanning the QR code. Ordering was done easily using your own phone. Prices could still be considered reasonable. The food took about 15 mins of preparation time before it was served. The timing was still acceptable if you took into consideration of the crowd. Food portion seemed not to be enough for an adult. Service was prompt and quick. Overall experience was still good.

As usual, it's what you can expect from any Din Tai Fung outlet. They're well known for up keeping and standardising their food and service quality across all their outlets and this outlet did not disappoint. Great food, service and atmosphere. I ordered their fried rice with shrimps and pork chop, along with their spicy hot and sour soup, prawn pancake, and some xiao long baos. All the dishes I ordered were great. I've been to this outlet and also visited other outlets many times and I knew what taste to expect from their dishes. This time round they had a promotional item, their chilli crab xiao long bao and it was amazing. Really tastes like you're eating chilli crab. It was refreshing to try a xiao long bao from Din Tai fung that uses a different soup base. I have been to this outlet many times since it's the one nearest to my place and every time it doesn't disappoint. I've always had a good dining experience here and will continue visiting from time to time.

The garlic pork is my favorite here, and the xiao long bao is good, with relatively thin and consistent skin thickness. As for the la-mian, I have tried better tasting one elsewhere.
