We were there for lunch on a Monday. We were surprised that there was a $36.80 set menu for lunch. The meal consists of an appetiser, three dishes, two bowls of rice and hot tea. We can opt for brown rice without additional charges. It was value for money.
The herbal dish was as good as it was before. Lettuce was a good portion for two to share, the hot plate tofu with minced pork was delicious. And the appetiser was really hot and crispy when served. It was quite a lot to eat for two.
Service was good and prompt. The servers provided clear explanation of the different lunch promotions. Would definitely return for more such wonderful dining experiences.

We ordered a few dishes, which were enough for both of us: a quarter of a danggui duck, charshao, gailan, and some rice. I think the dishes were done perfectly, with the exception of the charshao, which my partner found too fatty. I guess it is because it's Iberico pork? The rice portion was a bit too small.
Service was good, and we were well served by local aunties. They even shared with us how to download the app for a discount. Before the discount, it cost us over $60, which was slightly costly, but they made up for it with the nice food and service. It should keep us coming back again.
The queue was pretty long when we got there around 7 PM on a Saturday, but their turnover was pretty fast.

They have the best food here. Every dish was delicious, especially the roasted duck. It was roasted perfectly: the sauce was delicious, the skin crispy, and the meat tender. Highly recommended. The taste was 11/10. Cleanliness was 9/10.

Quick service and delicious food. The herbal roasted duck is a must-try. Portions are generous. We signed up for membership, which is really good value for money, as members get promotions on the roast duck.

Ordered the 4-pax set meal. Their duck was quite nice, not the best I've eaten, but the chilli that goes with the duck is the best I've ever had. It's a tangy, citrusy chilli and it's not spicy at all, perfect for me.
The marmite chicken also deserves a special mention. It's crispy and the marmite taste was just right, not overpowering.
I wasn't that big a fan of the pork floss/seaweed/vegetable dish.
The rest of the dishes were not bad.

The staff were friendly in explaining the menu and attentive to our requests. The only issue was that they didn't inform us about the free rubber duck that comes with the roast duck purchase; we only learned about it from the cashier.
The food was definitely great and was filling, despite only ordering a small size. The seating was mostly okay; it even had a bag carrier for our items. However, some of the seats did not have back support.

Dian Xiao Er, as reviews consistently confirm, is still as good as ever. The food quality at DXE is always consistent, regardless of the branch, and their service delivery is always excellent. I would definitely recommend DXE and revisit any of their branches for their quality 当归鸭. 5*!

Not sure where the name came about, but this place is definitely one of the top places to go for some good food. Having a membership made everything cheaper and more worth it. The food is delicious and flavourful. If only they had their promos all year round, I would definitely visit every week.

It has been years since I have eaten at Dian Xiao Er, as I was previously not very impressed. But I came back recently and re-introduced my son to this restaurant. We both thoroughly enjoyed what we had here, as the dishes were very flavorful. Prices are definitely on the high side.
