Got the seaweed shio pan ($2.20). Crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. Each bite was butter-y salty with a good amount of seaweed taste. It's similar to a croissant but minus the flaky mess, a bit denser and a little on the oily-er side(due to the butter). Overall a good salted butter roll.

BreadTalk has started selling all the X'mas stuff. Things like A Letter to Santa donuts at 3 for $6. The rest is standard fare in terms of bread and whatnot. Still love the floss bread though, they are the best.

I think they have sunk to a new low. The laziness of the cook is just unbelievable. Not only was the sandwich not toasted, he didn’t even bother to cut the sandwich. Where’s the quality control? BreadTalk group, what are you doing about quality and your reputation?

My dad loves the fire floss from Breadtalk so much. During his visit to Singapore, he would eat 1-2 pieces every day for two weeks straight. My dad loves the fire floss from Breadtalk so much. During his visit to Singapore, he would eat 1-2 pieces every day for two weeks straight. This time I’m bringing him some as he can not come to Singapore because of his condition. The staff’s gesture of providing me with a cake box for my flight was really a nice touch.

You do not have the quintessential Junction 8 experience without smelling the freshly baked bread after leaving the NS line entrance or exit. Located near aforementioned area, and right beside Toast Box, you can often hear the cashiers or employees saying the discounts and how much each bread costs. The breads are surely always enticing. Of course, Breadtalk is a well known household name (& franchise) to most Singaporeans so I’ll cut to the chase. Not forgetting the nostalgic factor - I always got their pork floss. I tried all breads straight - no reheating. Just into my mouth. The first bread I tried was the shio pan. Flaky but not as flaky as a croissant, salty, chewy but the salt I think was what drew me to it. Next, the naan bread was definitely spicy and had curry potatoes and chicken in it. It’s not like a classic naan (I think, have not tasted naan in a long time) but meh. I wouldn’t get it again. The bun I would get again would be the sunflower. It has a lot of seeds in it - black sesame, walnut, sunflower of course, etc. it tasted really good to me.

28Feb I was in there and that branch of Bread talk is not a good place to sit and eat at this because that area don't have wall so I felt a little bit shame. That's why I ate quickly 😆. Whatever it takes, I love Bread talk. …

Almost ate half a bowl of the curry chicken and suddenly saw a weird black spot and realized it is a housefly. Show the staff and was told it is a fried shallot. He must be thinking we could not tell the Color differences between a housefly and fried shallot. Though another staff came to offer a replacement but we could not accept as the curry is from the same pots. Both me and my girl each had a bowl and immediately we gave up eating and psychology we felt stomach upset. The situation could be handle with better concern and customer service.

Went by your Bishan outlet this afternoon, there was this guy shouting "special promotions".I chose the swiss roll not the cheese cake (had that before) asked about the expiry, same guy reassured me its 3-4days including today 8/4.But when the lady cashier told me its going to be tomorrow 9/4,i queried him who became defensive claiming he heard me wrong? He then tried to convince me saying that he had eaten before with his mom like after expiry, without any issues. But hey thats not the point right?Unable to get a refund with him cant simply void a sale,i had no choice but to pick another item..simply frustrating. My fault to trust a sale staff there instead of trying to find out myself the expiry ?
