Ordered a ice Milo to go. Diluted and tasted like water. Not sure what happened to their quality control with such high pricing.

The worst experience ever. Nothing traditional about thier toast. Kaya toast that has not a tiny taste of kaya. With increased price, the least they could do was provide friendly service and quality food. It's a disgrace to all kopitiams serving kaya toast. Also discovered that the set is cheaper at other Toastbox outlet? Enough said. Never again.

maybe the whole team is new , they can’t handle regular orders. i ordered my drink warm, it came piping hot. i wanted my eggs steeped longer, i think they took new raw eggs to steep , so it turned out the same as their regular eggs. the branches at toa payoh and most other places don’t have issues understanding me. disappointing

Worst Toast Box outlet. They don’t update availability on Grab and sneakily cancel half the order, trying to force us to accept this instead of fully rejecting orders they can’t fulfill on their end. Took me 30 mins to get a human on Grab to manually cancel this nonsense.

Although we live in Bishan, we can count our finger how many times in the past 6 years we came to this place. It's squeezed somehow especially recently during the restriction pax of 5. Came here to let my husband tried egg ham cheese toast but at the end we couldn't find it here and at the end we had the sandwich and boluo burger. I didn't know such thing that different branch there'll be some different menu on it as I got the egg ham cheese toast at Novena branch. A guy at the cashier a bit rushing in taking order, but I can understand the pace of this workplace too. Overall okay, but maybe indeed not the best place to have a bit relax coffee and toast. Sandwich okay only, the bun of boluo burger is very sweet and okay too.

Definitely a very decent bowl of laksa even though they forgot the laksa leaves. Non existent service, had to ask for laksa leaves. The tables are so small and squeezy, overcrowding of tables and chairs I understand to maximize profit but definitely at the cost of a better atmosphere for the patrons.

Very bad food experience. Thick dried up unpleasant noodles . Argumentative bad cook pushing blame to cashier . Horrible meal. Only the tall lady who was making the drinks was pleasant and polite . BreadTalk need to quality check their service standards and food standards .

Toast box has often produced simple and enjoyable local fares. What sets each store apart is service. This branch in particular which I have been patronizing for years seems to be declining in service with newer staff. Ordered to cashier- kopi o and got kopi. Ordered bread butter and got kaya butter(but the lady serving noticed confusion). After 10mins we realized we didn’t get the soft boiled eggs. Reminded cashier who gave a -you must be mistaken look before dumping cold eggs on a plate that was meant for my elderly mum. Sigh… I can go to other outlets with friends but I just hope they can train the newer stuff to be alert. Mistakes are common but a little initiative from the staff will go a long way.

All Toast Boxes feel quite tight but this outlet in particular seems a little more cramped. The toast is so-so. I much rather the generous slabs of cold butter at Ya Kun. Even Wang Cafe's is more satisfying. What keeps me coming back is the tea. Whether it's the teh, teh-c, siew dai or not, it's consistently well done. This time I had it with the Coffee Gaogao cake which was quite nice - had an authentic (as opposed to chemical) coffee flavour but, in my books, could do with a little more butter cream.

Bit of a busy place (expected) right next to the MRT station. I did like the amount of kaya in my toast. I might go elsewhere for my tea.

Been patronizing Toast Box for at least 8 years already. The prices have been increased several times over the years. The recent 2 times that Toast Box increased the price were getting more ridiculous. The price increased in 2024 was already quite a bit of a hoo-ha, this year (2025) Toast Box still increase the price of the menu?! I’m all set to look for replacement.

Coffee was standard. As usual very crowded as people are looking for a place to rest and drink coffee without breaking the bank. Cleanliness can be better. Staffs are busy with preparing the food and coffee.

Bought the roast peanut cake, it had sugar and peanut on the cake, taste good , the sponge is not dry which I like a cake to be but, if the peanut is more fragrance would be perfect.
