The service sucks, and the place was full of flies. I asked for non-sugar, non-caffeine drinks, but the cashier recommended a new product that's full of sugar. After 1 hour, they chased me out, but others were allowed to stay longer than 1 hour. Ridiculous. Just go to the Shake Shack beside them; it's so much better to chill.

As a frequent grab-and-go coffee customer, I am an avid coffee enthusiast and am well-versed in the distinction between a latte and a cappuccino. When I recently ordered a latte but was served one with one-third foam, I promptly reported the issue to their customer care department. However, my feedback was met with a rather inadequate response, stating that “footage showed preparation was accurate.” It is unclear whether this response implies I had consumed the coffee and then falsely reported the issue. Nevertheless, the customer care service provided by this establishment falls short of expectations, and they need to review their standard of coffee quality.

Well, I probably wouldn't visit this place for meals or drinks, unless it's to meet a friend in a comfortable setting. For people with poor eyesight like me, the menu fixed on the counter table is inconvenient; the words are a bit small and hard to read.
Food is so-so. It's something that can be easily prepared at home (which is why I feel it's not worth paying so much; additionally, the mini hash brown had a rancid smell, likely from the frying oil).
However, the renovated cafe is comfortable for meet-ups and has a good ventilation system.

I was there last night, 17/7/2025, around 9:30 PM. One of your staff, Matha, provided really excellent and helpful service. 👍🏻

SGD16.50: quick.
For the second item (20++), I had to wait nearly 10 minutes, FYI.

The portion was surprising, after great anticipation from the advertisement poster. Maybe this white plate is too big. The yogurt is surprisingly nice. Everything else was good. The portion reflects the economic inflation. Tables are really small.

No customer service at all. I'm a regular customer here at J8. However, a staff member named Jeffrey didn't even say hi or welcome, and he doesn't seem to like his job. He had better leave or needs proper training.

Recently tried another cake, and it was still very dry, even though it had been properly refrigerated for some time. It was the same as 4 years ago. The chocolate cake was so dry and hard. I was very disappointed; it might not have been properly defrosted. The coffee is still good.

Had breakfast for two at $11.90. The bread was soft and fluffy, but I'd rather have toast than a bun. There was no ham this time, but it was replaced with Meiji yogurt. I would rather have sausages, but at that price, I can't complain. The coffee is probably made from premix powder, then topped with fluffy milk.

It’s clear that the customer service still has room for improvement compared to its competitors. Unfortunately, the lady wearing the shirt, who seemed to be in a senior role, did not handle my order well. That said, I want to acknowledge that both the marketing and kitchen teams did an excellent job.
