I recently visited Taka J8 and had the pleasure of being assisted by Wayne . His service was nothing short of outstanding as he was knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth and pleasant experience. Wayne took the time to explain all my options clearly, answered every question I had, and handled my transactions with efficiency and professionalism. His friendly and attentive demeanor truly made a difference, turning what could have been a routine visit into a memorable and positive experience. It’s rare to find such dedicated and customer focused staff. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for reliable and exceptional assistance .

I purchased 2 items from Taka on 27th December last year to payment to be made in 3 monthly installments by credit card. The monthly payments are $109.34 and $247. Last month 22nd January, an amount of $171.34 was charged to my card without my knowledge! Furthermore, I was away overseas and received a message of this deduction! I immediately contacted the credit card center to cancel my card. When returned to Singapore, I went to the shop at J8 and tried to get an explanation for this and they were totally 'blur like sotong"

My parents and sister purchased two gold chains from the TAKA J8 outlet on 7 and 8 February 2025, costing $3,052 and $4,832, respectively. On 8 February, they also traded in two gold chains, receiving $2,508 and $1,375 in return. The remaining balance for the new gold chain ($4,832) was paid in cash. On 14 February, my sister received a call from TAKA, informing her that one of the traded gold pieces had been appraised incorrectly—they had valued it at $917 instead of $1,375—and requested that she pay an additional $420 via PayNow. Given the significant difference, my father opted to retrieve the gold piece and return the full $1,375 instead. However, to his shock, TAKA refused to return the item. Only after a tense and unpleasant argument did they agree to return the gold. My father then had it appraised at another jewellery store, where it was valued at $1,600—nearly twice what TAKA had offered ($1,375 initially and $917 after reassessment). We are extremely disappointed and frustrated. Not only was the initial appraisal unreasonably low, but they also later attempted to lower the valuation further and demand an additional payment. The entire experience felt highly suspicious, and we deeply regret purchasing from TAKA. We hope the management can provide an explanation. If not, consider this a warning to other potential buyers.

WAYNE LOH is amazing ! He is so helpful, service oriented, very pleasant and helped me to achieve my dream pair of diamond earrings which is not available in the design I want, he creatively suggested combining two pairs and help me to customize, just take 2 weeks at a small fee. This is after sourcing around several jewelry store for diamond earrings for my dream pair ! He also gave me professional advise and helped me to select a beautiful eternity diamond ring, The eternity ring is purchased simply because of his great service and convincing skills yet with warmth and sincerity 👍👍 thank you Wayne ! Social media team please ensure he receives my note of appreciation and ensure management recognizes he great work thanks ! Best regards & seasons greatings Khim
