One of the nicest Lu Rou Fan I’ve eaten in Singapore. And I’ve eaten a lot as I’m a fan. Although it’s not quite the levels of Taiwan, given what Singapore has this comes relatively close to the Taiwanese iteration. Loved the batter on the mushroom, it’s crispy and tasty. Their classic pork chop came as a surprise, they gave 2 pieces given 1 piece would’ve been too small a portion for their price. Overall decent portions for its price. Would come back that’s why 5 stars for food. Average nothing out of the ordinary service together with a decent atmosphere.

Ordered the following items: Oyster Mee Sua, Sesame Chicken Mee Sua, Salted Fried Chicken, Fried Oyster Mushroom & Cold Black Tea. Oyster Mee Sua & Sesame Chicken Mee Sua was a good portion with a fair amount of oysters - enough for me. Sesame chicken was in large chunks and worth the money. The taste of the broth was not what we expected, but still good nonetheless. Salted Fried Chicken was one of the better dish here - crispy, nicely marinated, & seasoned perfectly not too much nor too little. Imo it's better than Three Bowls 吃三碗. Fried Oyster Mushroom, however, was disappointing. First, the mushroom was not marinated well at all, tastes bland. Moreover, the batter did not adhere well to the mushroom, falling out as you chew into it. Lastly, it's quite oily & 腻. The "seasoning" powder dusted on the mushroom did not bring out any flavour at all. Lastly, the cold black tea tasted just like its name. Lightly sweetened, it's to my taste & I find the drink quite refreshing after an oily meal. Price-wise, do note that the prices stated in the menu does not include service charge and GST. It's a bit strange to charge us for service when we had to order at the counter , and all they did was to serve the food to our table... Perhaps they could consider continue charging service charge & let the waitress order our food, OR remove the service charge and make it self-ordering / collection. Overall, it's a decent meal for lunch. Thank you!

Ordered the stewed meat rice, oyster mee sua and the sweet potato fries. The taste and portion sizes were average, nothing wrong with them. But one good thing is that the food gets served quite fast even when they are handling a full dinner service. With the prices they are charging just wish that the flavours or the portion size could be improved but other than that it was alright.

Overall, good and recommended! Food portion was generous. Service standard was better than expected! Atmosphere was great, quiet and spacious. The only downside is the taste. The spices were more on the salty side. Great for people who likes heavy taste though~

Food is bad. Chicken chop was dry and hard. Obviously refried, laced with layer of salt. Not palatable. The cucumber salad is called zucchini salad which is weird but tasted ok. $17+ for honey chicken chop rice and cucumber salad. Not worth it. Staff are trying their best but I won't be back.

We got the set meal at $7.90 and topped up $1 for black tea. Now that I look at the other reviews of this place, I realised that there was an additional service charge and GST on top of the prices. I do agree it is weird that I have to order at the counter and still be charged service charge. The food taste was ok, but I will look closely at the prices next time.

My first and last time visiting this cafe. The food arrived less than a minute after I placed my order... which meant it could have been reheated, or already prepared and immediately dished out. Which is ok, but the quality was really dismal. The fried food was obviously refried. The mee sua was very sweet and too salty. Same with the other dishes as well. We ordered the oyster mushroom, sesame chicken and Taiwanese soup. All too sweet and salty at the same time. The only thing good was the dessert, which was the bean curd and grass jelly. That was yummy. The service staff were pleasant and happy to serve. But the food was very disappointing

When they say authentic. You have to try. Not many customers in the shop don't mean the food cmi. It's actually very nice! The meat is cooked, right. The rice is not too wet. The TW sausage was a nice touch. The desert was very good as well. Beacurd infused with booba = thumbs up 👍

We’ve been coming here twice a month because we love the salted fried chicken with the lu rou fan—the pork belly pieces used to be generous and full of flavour. However, on our recent visit, we noticed the rice now only comes with sauce and no pork belly. We were told that pork belly is now a separate add-on at an extra cost, which was quite disappointing. The sausage slices have also become noticeably thinner. A real pity, as this used to be one of our favourite comfort meals.

Loo Rou Fan, braised pork rice bowl was passable, not quite the authentic dish we expect. We were hoping the oyster Mee Sua will taste legitimate, but not quite. Service was fast and friendly, and price point acceptable.
