Ordered the Christmas menu and here's my review:
1. Fish pie - at $59, NOT worth it. It was just a big mass of mash potatoes with what seems like broken fish meat (?) in a standard 8in round aluminium tray. Very different from what was showed on the website pictures with slices of fish sitting on a bed of mash potatoes. (See my pictures. Website picture has since been taken down by Saybons)
2. Turkey - the size of a big chicken. I would have been willing to overlook it if not for the fish pie issue. Came as a set at a premium of $268 with
Truffle Mac & Cheese - dry and just salty truffle sauce splattered on it. Not much taste. Again, would've been willing to overlook it since this is supposed to be 'kids food', and
Mushroom soup.
3. Chicken ham - the only saving grace in the items we ordered. But had to be ordered a separately at premium of $88.
Very disappointed. We've always liked Saybons (up to this point) and had catered their food many times including the crepe live station at family gethering. Their menus come at a premium and it would have been ok if quality is good. This would be the last time I'm ordering from them. I wouldn't recommend either.

- Order was done through scanning the QR code on the table.
- The service was very efficient and got our food within 10 minutes.
- However, considering the price paid, the food was average. Not that it was bad, but relative to price, I think I've had better.
- Think they are short-staffed as there was only one main person greeting the customers, cleaning the tables, and serving the food.

Promising but disappointing.
Looks good, from the outside; but should have read the reviews first.
Food is mediocre. Food was served very fast, which is usually a bad sign. Meatballs are rubbery. Soup came in a paper cup.
Waiter took 1 minute to confirm that a lunch item was sold out. Another waiter sat on a table and watched youtube or TikTok with the speaker on. And you have to clear the table after the meal.
The price is middle class, but the food and service is definitely not.

Disappointing experience, chair was dirty. Food was salty. The DIY cheesebowl pasta doesn't even roll in the cheesebowl. One of the lady staff had a really bad attitude not suitable for service line. Price not cheap too, 2 pasta with add-on soup in a cup and 1 crepe cost $56. Won't go back again.

We’ve been with Saybons from near the beginning when they were at Plaza Singapura. Their soups and bread were outstanding and continue to be great at this outlet in Junction 8. However their new menu offerings were misleading and lacking in quality - namely their cheesewheel pasta which wasn’t served in a cheese wheel if you customise it with salmon. The manager said it was because the salmon would make it too salty, well then please take away the option of salmon because it’s misleading to offer cheesewheel pasta if it doesn’t come in a cheesewheel! At the same time, the cabonara sauce was crappy and tasted like it came out of a jar with added salt. I have to say it was very nice of them to take the items that we were not happy with off our bill.

I’ve been a loyal Saybons customer for over a decade, visiting the Junction 8 outlet even before its relocation and the now-closed Plaza Singapura branch. Unfortunately, standards have really gone downhill.
During my recent visit, I noticed flies around the area, the soup was extremely watery and diluted (I gave feedback, but the response was simply, “Oh sorry, they just changed the soup”), and the so-called soft-boiled egg had an overcooked yolk. And look at the extra grease on the crepe.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Saybons, but experiences like these can turn even long-time regulars away. I really hope to see improvements because I know this place can do better. Hoping for a better experience next time.

extremely stuffy, with no ventilation.
food smell sticks onto your clothes.
ordered the pesto crepe and it was incredibly oily. drowning in grease.
would not recommend to come here at all.

Food was distasteful and bland. Place has virtually little to no ventilation. Like an oven. Food was just disappointing. Would not recommend anyone to dine here. 10.90 for fishy “seafood”bisque. The only thing they got right was “sea” because it was incredibly fishy with a lack of flavour. And these plasticy bits inside the soup, utter disappointed and grotesque. Truffle mushroom cabonara with no salt, this place is beyond comprehensible to mess up a staple like cabonara. No truffle flavour, no salt, no pleasure in dining at this establishment

Was such a terrible experience. The system kept adding random orders to my order. Then the staff couldnt speak english properly to address the concerns. The food came 20 minutes apart and even when it came it was COLD.. Why would i wanna eat COLD egg with cheese ? Disgusted. The staff was not helpful at all. Saybons do something..
edit: Tried the fries. its completely undercooked and disgusting. Saturated in oil

Love the food options available. Convenience to consume but the waiting time for my pasta took ABIT longer than expected.
I arrived at 620pm and ordered 5 mins later.
The place wasn't crowded but service seemed slow maybe due to lack of manpower.
Pasta is very though. I opt for the cheese pasta wheel

The crepes are tasty with a generous filling, although the portion is a bit small and is not enough for a main course.
The casual and cosy atmosphere is great for catching up with friends.

This place specialises in middle end French food. The prices are reasonable. The All in crepes with ham, mushroom and egg is recommended. The seafood risotto was also good. Overall service was prompt.

Lovely environment and great customer service! It would be even better if the soup could be served in a bowl for added convenience.
