Abit pushy and I don’t get why I am forced to book an appointment on the spot when it’s 8 weeks later. It adds alot of pressure to me as I really don’t know my schedule for that week. If they already impose a $10 cancellation fee, shouldn’t they let customers book appointment freely and not force them?
The only commendable part is that the SHR process is decent.
But overall still a very stressful appointment

Pros:
One commendable aspect is their commitment to continuously upgrading their machines over the years. As a result, the pain level during the treatment has notably decreased, making it a more comfortable experience. Despite a rotation of staff every few months, I have found most of them to be gentle and professional. However, there have been a few instances where the staff forgot to remove the cooling pad during underarm treatments, which could be improved upon.
Cons:
One area where could focus on improvement is in their sales approach. Occasionally, the staff can come across as pushy, which has made me feel slightly uncomfortable when contemplating future appointments. Although it is undoubtedly a common practice in beauty salons, would appreciate it if the team could be more understanding of varying customer budgets and their financial limitations. Not every customer can afford to spend more than $3k on packages, particularly when considering family expenses.
Despite these concerns, I would still recommend Regina for their notable machine upgrades and generally professional staff. It is my hope that they consider enhancing their understanding of individual customer circumstances to create a more inclusive and comfortable environment.
I hope these insights will contribute to the continued growth and improvement of Regina.

Have been at Regina J8 for many years. Their service has always been excellent, friendly and caring staff- always ensuring that I’m doing fine during every treatment without fail. Treatments thus far have also been effective and relatively painless. Would recommended them for any sort of hair removal services. ☺️

To the bad reviewers , please spare some thoughts , this is a business & with reputation. Asking you to book next appointment because their slots are usually full. They didn't "force" you to book , don't think you're as delicate (get stress easily) as your skin. Lastly about $10 cancellation fee , nobody wishes to earn your $10 , you could have a busy schedule which they are doing their best to help. If after reading this & you still "stress" then DIY waxing , as most hair removal outlets unable slot you in suddenly , good luck

The staff are always super friendly and accommodating, always making sure I'm comfortable and understand how my treatments have been progressing. I have been coming to Regina for 6-7 months.
As an Indian I have very thick hairs that grows within and hour. However now I shave twice a month. The staff here are very accommodating and polite. I can’t wait to see the end results

Staff are friendly and welcoming! Haven't been back in ages and still feel very comfortable and welcomed. Process is quick and painless, like it that I'm always updated on what the steps are like, the gel is gonna be cold etc.
