I ordered Black Forest cake on December-19th from POLAR Cakes @Junction 8 Bishan. The worst black forest cake I ever tasted. I was totally disappointed. Not worth trying.

Really good place with a wide variety of cakes and puffs. I feel this is one of the biggest outlet available in this area (other outlet is @NEX) and also think they have one of the best customer service as they are really quick to process your order and are willing to listen to you carefully. Kudos!

Once an all time old school favorite, sadly reduced to cost cutting measures. The cakes don’t taste the same anymore. It has an artificial taste. Standards are not consistent also as seen in the difference in sizes of two sugar rolls. Found that to be amusing when I opened my box.
Sadly no longer a decent tea time snack. Can taste the cheaper ingredients used.

Used to love the chicken pie and curry puffs but prices have gone up quite a bit in the last few years.
Also the filling seems to have decreased. Puff seems quite empty with small amount of curry potato paste. No signs of chicken meat.

Terrible outlet. Got scammed when i went to buy a cake. There was a signboard stating 20% discount. However, after paying and when i checked the receipt a few metres away, i realized no discount for that was given... just the Passion Card one.
When i went back to ask, the staff tells me it's only for two of the cakes.
Maybe this company profits by being dishonest? Even no one picks up when you call their company hotline, nor answers messages via their website form.
Very disappointed in Polar.

We love to buy our pastries from Polar . The curry puffs, chicken pie, tuna puffs etc. They are all crispy on the outside and tender inside. Staff are thoughtful.
