Bishan Junction 8 gave very terrible service from the young lady as asked to give more sweet sauce for the soon kueh bought because I don’t want the chili sauce and she actually not responding much to me then when I return home searching for the sweet sauce and found only a packet of like used and left over sweet saice that by digging in also cannot get much for 4 pieces of soon kueh use😰.
How come such standard?
Sweet sauce so hard to provide then don’t sell those food that needs to eat with it please.
How to eat without?
Picture to show the amount of sweet sauce given in that packet that I painstakingly dug out all the amount only to be able to hardly enjoy with 1 soon kueh.

A regular of this brand of pau. Always great quality. This morning went to their bishan store and bought 6 of each tau sa and lotus as s gift. Ask the female staff member for a pen to write outside the box, she flew into a long winded speech in mandarin telling me very rudely the difference in the pau. I told her it was a gift but she just carried on. The franchisee should if they read this review teach their staff some manners and courtesy.

My order is simple: 1 big pau, 1 glutinous rice, 3 char siew bao.
The counter lady offer me the siew mai which i said “No”.
And against my order, she swapped my charsiew order with the siew mai and charged me too. And i confront the lady again.
What a mess.

Wanna try their Amy Yip ba bao but sold out.. so purchase da bao, char siew bao and other bao to try. Conclusion is that their da bao is not bad cos the dough skin is not too thick and portion is just nice. The rest has too thick dough and the ingredients is too little.

Every time I buy the soon koey and yam cake, they don’t give the sweet sauce and chilli if don’t ask. Just pretend and quickly pack to shortchange. How to eat?. Bland taste without any sauce. Also cold and hard. The little pieces of yam in yam cake also hard. Disappointing.

Look at the size of glutinous rice that costs $1.60, so pathetic, not even have any dried shrimp, minced meats, fried scallion and peanuts. Just pure lumpy glutinous rice with a few thin slice of mushrooms. My last visit.

The sales woman in the spectacles was extremely disrespectful to my mom, who was inquiring if the redeem singapore coupons were available at this shop. She cut her off mid sentence, and attended to the next person without answering her question. What’s wrong with asking if we can use the vouchers? Why do you have to discriminate?
No Pau is worth such disrespectful behaviour. Management, are you waiting until your google reviews drop to 1 and lead to the closure of your shop (and outlets) before you do something? From what I can see this is not new information, you’ve had a string of bad reviews for months. Do not recommend, do not go there.

The management definitely needs to come down anonymously to see for themselves why the ratings are so lousy. Needless to say, i could not stand the bespectacled lady service attitude too. Behaviour is too 嚣张.
Yesterday when I was there buying a few paus and a few Siew Mais, I requested the staff to pack all in a box as I do not wish to waste so many small plastic bags. I was told '包 is not 烧卖,烧卖 is not 包'. Do I need her to teach me this!!

Nam Kee owners need to monitor this outlet and its business ethics. The 2 non-local girls manning this stall are terrible. I wanted 3 big paus and 1 red bean pau. They said buy 4 big paus can put in a box but I don't need to eat so many. They said 3 big pau + 1 red bean pau can't put in box, only plastic bags. What logic is that...in the end they used 4 plastic bags (!) to pack my 3+1. When I left I overheard them complain in dialect about me not buying 4 big paus. What business practice is this.

Served cold kueh. Asked for hot ones, they said don't have. Bought 3 kueh and asked to put them in a box. They said need extra 30 cents. Wanted an extra fork as we are 2 persons sharing, they said cannot.
The taste of the kueh? Cold kueh with thick skin. Do you think it will taste good?

I was appalled by the rude behaviors of the staff at Nam Kee Pau.
I was at J8 branch purchasing some items today, but the staff decided to prep for the 2nd customer on the line. Staff A (I assume with more senior position) asked Staff B to prep for the 2nd customers' food while I was there just waiting for them to prep finish before prep-ing my food. Staff B felt bad as I was 1st on the queue and decided to stop halfway to prep my book as I came first and was just waiting there, without making any noise. Staff A told Staff B off and questioned Staff B why she stop preparing. I interrupted Staff A and said "I came here first but yet you are preparing 2nd customer food, which the order is more complicated then mine". Staff A started to scream at me and say that I am still toggling on my shopeepay and that I was on earpiece.
#1: I had already finish paying shopeepay before they started the 2nd customers order.
#2: The 2nd customer was also using shopeepay
#3: Mine was a frozen order and does not have any impact whether I use shopeepay or not as it's already a cold item
#4: Why do Staff A have to blame it on me when I am listening on my earpiece and what does that have to do with my order at Nam Kee Pau?
I questioned Staff A "Why are you shouting? You don't have to shout" and then she screamed back "I am not shouting!".
Nam Kee Pau seriously needs to train their staff well and send their staffs for anger management courses as it's not the 1st time the same staff is rude to me.

I wish Nan Ji mgt staff could go eat a bowl of yr Ban Mian at yr Simei, B1-12 branch.
The noodles are very tough & soup very salty - What has the QC team been doing or is there a QC team in Nan Ji ?
After the above review, I happened to read some reviews. Most of the customers seemed to be unhappy with yr staff service. It's indeed true. I was waiting for my food while a Chinese man next in the queue, ordered his food; a bowl of noodles. Yr staff, a late 50 yr old Chinese lady, asked "Take away or eat here?" The man answered "Eat here" in Mandarin.
The lady asked the same question a 2nd & 3rd time, and the man was very patient to answer her twice consecutively.
What dies this tell about yr staff ?
In-attentive ? Partially deaf ? Language issue ? Over-worked ? Having her pay-increment ?
You judge, Managers !

The service from the young lady at Bishan Junction 8 was terrible. When I asked for more sweet sauce for the soon kueh I bought, stating I didn't want chili sauce, she barely responded to me. Upon returning home, I searched for the sweet sauce and found only a packet that looked used and leftover. Even after digging, there wasn't enough for four pieces of soon kueh 😰.
What kind of standard is this?
If sweet sauce is so hard to provide, then please don't sell food that needs to be eaten with it.
How can one eat it without?
The picture shows the amount of sweet sauce given in that packet, which I painstakingly dug out, only to find it was barely enough for even one soon kueh.
