Mister Donut at Junction 8 brings the iconic Japanese donut experience to Singapore's largest suburban mall, representing over 50 years of confectionery excellence from a beloved chain with more than 900 stores worldwide. Located at #02-27A and operating daily from 11am to 9pm, this historic location marks Mister Donut's first permanent Singapore outlet, opening on May 21, 2023, after generating tremendous excitement during their 2022 pop-up appearance at Jurong Point where customers waited up to five hours for these coveted Japanese treats. The arrival of this authentic Japanese donut institution adds international confectionery heritage to Junction 8's diverse food landscape.
The menu features the legendary Pon De Ring donuts, made with tapioca flour to achieve a distinctive mochi-like texture that sets them apart from traditional American-style donuts. Signature offerings include the Original Pon De Ring, Strawberry variant, and Singapore-exclusive Chocolate flavor, alongside traditional yeast donuts like Honey Dip and Strawberry Ring, and the airy French Cruller served sandwich-style with cream. With donuts priced between .30 to .50 and available in convenient boxes of six (4) or ten (3), Mister Donut offers premium Japanese confectionery that emphasizes balanced sweetness and unique textures rather than overly sweet American-style alternatives. The carefully crafted recipes ensure each donut delivers the authentic Japanese experience that has made the brand globally celebrated.
The Junction 8 location accommodates high demand with efficient service, typically requiring 5-10 minute wait times due to the popularity of these authentic Japanese treats. While the outlet operates as a takeaway-focused concept without seating, the convenient mall location allows customers to enjoy their donuts throughout Junction 8's comfortable common areas. With purchase limits of 10 pieces per customer and maximum four Pon De Ring donuts per transaction, Mister Donut ensures fair availability while maintaining the exclusivity that has made these Japanese confections highly sought after among Singapore's dessert enthusiasts seeking authentic international flavors.
Custard filling not available. Custard strawberry french curler always not available. More than 20% of the item is not available. Its only 3pm OFS OFS OFS. Why not just close the shop fr.

Have been here a few times in the past. But yesterday’s donut quality has clearly dropped. There seems to be no quality control for whoever that is making this batch yesterday morning.
Also the strawberry French crueller seems to be not available at multiple outlets. Please bring this back on the menu!

Wanted to get the churros but was sold out. There was a short Q on Friday evening we ordered within 5mins. So we tried out the chocolate pon de ring, angel cream & strawberry donut. I enjoyed my pon de ring which was mochi like, daughter loved her strawberry donut which was chewy and not too sweet. Hubby did not like his angel cream. Service counter lady was very nice to advise me to refrigerate the donuts if we do not finish it tonight and to thaw for 15mins before consuming the next day. I didn’t like my donuts which turned hard like the other brands.
Oct12 update: managed to get my churros today and it did not disappoint! Bought 6 for $14 this time.

There is a wide variety of donuts and most people bought the ponder Ring(maybe spelt wrongly) they cap it at 4 per customer. Do check again when you are at the store. It is a bit chewy though. I bought the plain ones. It tasted very plain but with other flavours topped with it, it is nice. I also bought the Angel French Crueller and it is very sweet. Good for young people but not so for the elderly I feel. I think the queue will shorten as the months go by but at the moment, because of the write ups by bloggers, it will remain long for now. I was happy to queue up for only 15 mins but the hot sellers always run out first. I might buy again later this year when the queue gets shorter😜Pictures 5-7 are not from the shop but in Slovenia. The donuts were awesome and if I may say, it was better than Mister Donut.😃

There’s a queue on a weekday afternoon around 3pm. I didn’t have to wait long. I managed to get the donut after 10mins. They are selling 6 for $14 or any 10 for $23. They also limit 4 pon de ring per customer per transaction. I had 4 pon de ring, 1 angel French and 1 custard strawberry.

Check out their limited-time Pokémon lineup, starting with the super adorable Pikachu Donut ($4.50)! Coated with banana-flavoured chocolate and filled with rich chocolate whipped cream, this donut was too cute to eat. The flavours were a perfect harmony of creamy and chocolatey decadence, paired with Pikachu’s super duper adorable face! The Pon De Poké Ball ($3.50) is for the pon de ring fans, a mochi-like delight, coated in a tangy berry glaze and smooth white chocolate. I love its chewy texture but found the glaze too sweet!
The Pokémon Bundle ($16/box) made the experience even sweeter. It comes with one Pikachu Donut, one Pon De Poké Ball, and your choice of four Pon De Ring donuts. My picks were Strawberry and Chocolate Pon De Rings, which showcased the signature mochi-mochi texture that Mister Donut is famous for. Each bite was light yet satisfyingly chewy—a hallmark of their artisanal expertise.

honestly quite average donuts! I bought chocolate & glazed pon de rings. Has a nice chewy texture, but the flavours are not elevated just tastes like factory-made donuts 😴 maybe I have to try their other products. But I must say their service is good! Probably cause the chain is from Japan, so they are well trained in service.

Tried the glazed pon de rings again but this time I PAN FRIED them 🤗 Much much better! Would be super nice with coffee in the morning. Up 1 🌟!

Finally tried the special Ya Kun x Mister Donut collab! The Ya Kun Pon De Ring was crazy good, I loved it so much. It was chewy, had a strong taste of coffee but also a subtle sweet taste. The Kaya Bombolini pales in comparison, but still nice.

Very delicious and worth trying!
Their signature pon de ring is ridiculously chewy. Each bite has a good mouthfeel as you bite into a little ball of elastic dough. Their custard cream is also fluffy and enjoyable.
I tried their strawberry chocolate and it's not really up to par with their pon de ring. It tastes more like damp oreo cake with overly sweet strawberry sauce on top. Their spinny things (Angel french) with whipped cream inside is also meh.
Overall its great to try their different flavours for $2.50, which is decently affordable compared to other donut chains. 10 for $23 is a great deal as well. Im pleasantly surprised at the staff carefully arranging the donuts so that their chocolate coatings will not touch each other. They also have separate paper bags for you. Fast service at 4pm with 6 people in the queue!

Mister Donut at Bishan Junction is a delightful spot for anyone craving a sweet treat or a coffee break. The variety of donuts is impressive, with everything from classic glazed to more adventurous flavours like matcha or maple bacon. Each donut is fresh and perfectly balanced in sweetness, making them hard to resist. The cafe itself is clean and well-maintained, with a cosy atmosphere that’s perfect for enjoying a quick snack or catching up with friends. Service is generally prompt and friendly, though it can get a bit busy during peak hours. While the menu could benefit from a few more drink options and savoury items, the quality of the donuts makes it a worthwhile visit. Overall, it’s a charming spot for a delicious indulgence and a pleasant coffee experience.
