The food is mostly good, except for the fried stuff.
As the lunch set photo was not clear, I wasn't sure which sushi was included.
They do have seasonal menus and member specials.

Genki is my kids’ favourite Japanese restaurant. We love the okonomiyaki, handrolls, udon, cold soba, and chawanmushi. Service at J8 is excellent as always :)

Went on a Friday evening for dinner. I had a very different experience from the customers next to us. Aside from the engawa spicy mayo sushi and spicy karage, the rest of the food was a struggle for me, and I eat most food. The akaebi garlic butter was the worst and final straw for me — it tasted off, like either the oil was off or they used margarine instead. I got nauseous eating that. The ebi fry sushi has wasabi inside — WHY?! 😭😭😭😭 The spicy karage sauce also had wasabi in it — need I say more? This was not for me, and I will not be going to Genki again.

The food was good and consistent. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more during peak hours, but the service was fast, and food came pretty quickly. I personally felt that the counter seats were too packed, offering absolutely no privacy, and I couldn't talk in peace. The people next to me kept knocking into me, and there were several times their saliva came out and landed on my bill.

Nice food as always, service is good and staff are friendly and full of smiles. Also appreciate that they always bring in new seasonal menus, which keeps things fresh and exciting. Highly recommend trying the Maze Soba, Beef Sushi and Garlic Ebi; all are super yummy! Environment is clean and welcoming as well. Will be back!

I finally got to try the new items! ୧( "̮ )୨✧
I ordered from the new Gokaimori series this time, and the Akami Gokaimori was especially fresh and sweet—absolutely delicious. The Tori Paitan Ramen really exceeded my expectations; the broth was so rich and flavorful. But my top favorite is still the Spicy Maze Soba—a must try!! Hope these can stay on the menu for good!

Good food, as expected from Genki Sushi.
We were promptly seated for dinner at 5:15 PM. We got counter seats since we didn't want to wait for the limited table seating.
You have to download and use the app for ordering if you want to earn points as a member. The app is not the easiest to navigate, but at least it was usable.
Food came promptly upon ordering, and the quality was good. Staff were attentive despite being busy during peak hours. Kid's utensils are available upon request (can be ordered from the menu).
