I buy the food the guy just throw (take it as pass) tf? if you were the customer I throw your chicken to another staff how would u feel.? so rude.... and another guy... man up be professional say sorry for the experience... the food is amazing, auntie was very nice and patient. chicken very flavourful. has corn in it which tastes super good. rice is Japanese rice and egg is well cooked. will come again

While a bit pricey for an express meal, the meal was good. The eggs were creamy and the chicken had strong honey flavour on the skin. The chicken was marinated well although not that juicy. The sauce pairs well if you would like to elevate the umami flavour.

the auntie at the cashier was super niceand friendly. the food came even before I sat down. the chicken was very good and soft. the sauce was amazing and the rice and egg combo was perfect. there was even corn under the egg which was also very good. the only thing is that there was limited seating. underrated place. would come here again.

I bought honey-roasted chicken here. It was 2 for $15. It was pretty okay, though slightly overcooked and a little too sweet. But the ribs were definitely too dry and pricey!

The staff were very rude and loud, and the food was too oily. I bought a set meal with a drink, but also brought my own drink. After my meal, I wanted to clear my own table but was told I was not allowed to dispose of my own drink bottle (a 500ml Ayataka bottle) in their bin, even though I had purchased a set meal WITH DRINK. Throughout the meal, staff member Shu Hui was observed shouting at other customers, pressuring and rushing them to order.

They are running a promotion for Grab Dine-in, but you are not allowed to pay with GrabPay. What for? Is it to cheat customers into coming, then they can't use it?

I think I might have met the same staff member the other reviewers mentioned. Absolutely terrible attitude from the lady with the ginger hair who served me. I wanted to redeem two meal vouchers that were purchased online, and the lady instantly shot me a death stare. I was told that teriyaki chicken was not available, but I was totally fine with other options. What prompted me to leave this review is that as she prepared my order, another "paying" customer came by, and she immediately went to serve that customer and finished serving him before continuing with mine. What's up with that? It's not like I didn't pay for my order, and to top things off, she just left the food on the counter when it was ready without saying anything. Terrible service attitude at its best.

At Bishan Junction 8, the counter indicated no GrabPay. I didn't notice and used the app, as the China counter guy had said PayNow was available. After I paid, he screamed and shouted at me, saying I didn't know how to read the signage. My two young kids were even with me at the time. I was so pissed off, and told him that I was a customer and he shouldn't scream at a customer. Moreover, we were in public. I even offered to let him take a picture of the transaction.
I visited this place on April 21st around 5 PM.
The food was also very expensive. A small chicken steak and a very small Bason sausage cost $9.80. I won't be coming here anymore.

I would not recommend BBQExpress. It's an overpriced shop with poor customer service. My friend specifically told the short-haired lady to leave out the vegetables, but when the food was served, it contained vegetables. When we confronted her, she simply said she forgot. Very disappointing experience.
