Good collection of scented candles. Got a few assorted fragrances, and loved all of them.

Please expand. There aren't many yc places in Singapore anymore. Hope to see more outlets!

The extremely helpful staff who followed up with my request. I am very thankful for her kindness.

I had to get a quick gift for a birthday party, and this was the place to get it! Great recommendations by staff. Ended up getting the Vanilla cookie large candle, which smelled good enough to eat.

I purposely went to the Bishan outlet to buy a candle. At first, the auntie said she was restocking items and asked me to come back again. Well, I came back after 20 minutes. When I reached there, I asked her, "Auntie, do I still have to wait?" In a not-so-nice tone, she told me that she was the only one working and her colleague was on break. I told her I couldn't wait as I needed to rush to other places. She ignored me. I quickly took whatever was on the shelf to pay. Again, with a not-so-nice attitude, she seemed a bit frustrated. And when I asked her, "Auntie, do you have a paper bag?" Nice one! She gave me one without telling me I needed to pay an extra $0.20. If I had known, I wouldn't have taken it, as I also had a paper bag with me. Next time, please tell your customers your bags are chargeable. I guess I won't patronize that outlet anymore. First and last.

I was told by the store assistant that I was not allowed to smell the candle without my mask on. Some flavors are so mild, how do you expect customers to choose which flavor they want? Also, I bought 3 big jars of candles, spending over $80, and I still had to pay $0.20 for the paper bag! Do you expect customers to hand carry all 3 heavy jars without a bag? For an overpriced candle, at least provide the paper bag for free.

I set out for the J8 outlet on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, around 12:30 PM, intending to purchase the Black Cherry candle jar, after seeing that the scent was stocked in the store. I asked about the prices and felt that the saleslady was getting impatient with me. I wanted to browse and consider getting other scents along with the large jar, so I asked about the difference between Harvest Walk and Velvet Woods. She snickered (!!!) as if it was a silly question and simply said that one was lighter than the other. The whole time she badgered me about what kind of scent I was looking to get, looked at her watch, and snickered at my questions. I needed more information since it appears that we can no longer sniff the candles. There was no other customer around, but the staff was unhelpful, impatient, and condescending. I walked out without purchasing anything. I'll try again in another outlet if I ever come across one, or when another staff member is on duty. Most of the time, the service at Yankee Candle was rather acceptable, but this time it was simply appalling, and I refused to pay for such terrible customer service. It was overall a very disappointing shopping experience.

I'd like to compliment a lady staff member with shoulder-length brown hair; I don't know her name. The first time I came, she quickly and efficiently helped me choose scents, and I got my desired gift candle for my colleague within five minutes. I came back a second time, and she remembered me and immediately got the item I was looking for. I asked her to help me pack the candle (a big glass jar candle) more safely, as I was transporting it by motorcycle. She took the effort to help me package it properly and safely. Thank you very much. I hope she gets the credit she deserves for such good customer service.

They sort their candles by color, which is very attractive and nice. If you are looking for a quick gift, you should buy these candles. The scent is really fragrant, and the shop is really well arranged!
