Waited too long for raw food! Order made at 7.47pm. Food served at 8.13pm. I mean how long does it take to plate raw meat? I don't blame the service crew but the management. They have the workflow in place to keep the ordering and payment system seamless but are clearly understaffed. If management cared better for their staff, staff will be able to deliver better service. Food's good but I guess they can't take the credit as they weren't the one cooking. They have a time limit of 50 mins per seating so expect to gobble up your food or try to cook your meat quickly.

MY FAV YAKINIKU ❤️ Special thanks to Nanette for being so nice and helpful. She patiently explained to us the membership details and was very friendly throughout. 👍🏼 Food is good as always 😋 Will definitely come back again!

I appreciate aunty Nanette’s assistance in helping me get a table of 10 for my boy’s birthday. We came in on a Saturday for lunch and she was so helpful and friendly to the kids. She’s such a gem. We had a great time.

Good service provided by Nannette who’s is also very attentive and friendly. Good recommendation by her on the signature platter which we truly enjoyed 👍

Had a very enjoyable dining experience at Yakiniku Like Junction 8 on 20/06/2025. ( Bill No.: 000-98643 Date: 2025/06/20 16:24:55 Table C4 ) The staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful. They didn’t show any displeasure when I last minute ask to upgrade my White Rice 🍚 to Bonito Seaweed Rice With Egg. The meat was of excellent quality as usual. Especially want to highlight the excellent customer service of server Annie. She was super friendly and patient when answering my enquiry which outlets offer the buffet option. Annie also offered to help take pics 📸 of my daughter and me. Keep up the good work . 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Had a great experience during our first visit there. We were greeted by our host who was very informative when we asked questions and helped us understand the sauces. Food came and we cooked, a bit longer than charcoal BBQ but still good. Beef was tasty, prime Karubi was our favourite very tender, the Rosu beef was also tender and flavorful, the skirt steak was okay, a bit tougher and more chewy but still ok. Pork belly was also very nice and thin, we preferred the spicy pork belly as it had more flavour. Edamame was cold version but quite okay good for one person, kimchi was okay. Service was great, all were pleasant and helped us very well. Specifically Nannette was extremely attentive helped us refill tea before we finished and very kind. She also helped us understand the membership and how we could earn points and gifts with multiple visits. She made good conversation with us when she was serving and was very on the ball and had a great demeanour. Overall ordered many dishes and total was reasonable and not too expensive especially considering other places. Good food and especially great service. Will revisit again.

Subject: Do You Want Customers to Eat Your Staff’s Saliva? I have been a regular customer of Yakiniku Like since 2020 and have visited several of your outlets over the years. I have always appreciated the quality of your food and service. In fact, whenever I dine out with friends, Yakiniku Like is usually my first choice. However, I had an extremely unpleasant and disappointing experience at your Bishan outlet on August 4th, 2025. One of your Indian service staff was delivering my food while chatting continuously with a colleague. When he served the food to me, he greeted me—but he was not wearing his mask properly. It was pulled down below his chin, which completely defeats its purpose, and I clearly saw droplets of saliva fall onto my food as he spoke. I can’t help but imagine what might happen in the kitchen if he was also not wearing a mask while preparing food. If he keeps talking like that, it means customers could be unknowingly eating his saliva. This behavior is extremely unhygienic and completely unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I sincerely hope your management will take this matter seriously. Please ensure that all staff are properly trained in hygiene practices and professional conduct to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience for every customer.

Handsome Vicky put a smile on my face after my meal. Good service from the crew, clean tables and fuss free experience. They also greet Customers in proper Japanese greetings. Wide variety of sauces. All the staff are knowledgeable in the menu items and SOP. Really nothing much to complain at this place. A casual place ideal for catch up, gathering and hearty meal.
