Dante did a good job with the haircut, treatment and highlight for both my daughter and me. He was attentive to our needs and requests. He also instructed his fellow co-workers in detail about what to do when they helped out. Jayden, who was the assistant throughout, was very attentive to details too. Overall it was a good first experience at the studio.

Lengthy review ahead!
So I haven't been to a hair salon for about 7 years and I have been dying my hair with the box dyes from shopee. Long story short, my hair is severely damaged, frizzy, crazy, dry, you name it. It's also really long and difficult to manage especially in humid weather.
I had a bad experience when I last went to a salon, and that's why I just never went to one after that. They werent nice about my hair being dry and were speaking about it to each other, not knowing that I understood mandarin (🙋🏾♀️ brown girl here)
I have big plans next year and felt like I should start taking care of my hair from now. I saw Uhair J8 while eating at genki sushi and did a quick google search and saw that they had good reviews. Decided to make an appointment and was assisted by Karie who was really sweet and polite.
When I got to Uhair, I got to know that my stylist for the day was EM. I told her that I trusted her and told her to choose the color and style for me. I was there for almost 5 hours and everyone was really nice throughout. My hair was handled by EM & Jayden. Both of them were REALLY professional and skilled, always checking if I was okay, if there was any pain or heat etc. We also had pretty chill conversations and I could tell that they were both really genuine and passionate with their work.
The results didn't disappoint and I left feeling really happy and refreshed. Me, my fiancé and family really liked the outcome. "I feel like you finally have real hair on your head"
The only "downside" was the package offered by someone else after everything was done. It made me feel a lil uncomfortable and felt a bit like a hard sell, but I still signed for it because I was really happy with EM and Jayden's work. -- honestly, I would still have come back to get my hair done here because of how skillful they were. Just wanted to give a heads up for people who dislike practices like this.
Overall, the place is really comfortable and welcoming. Everyone there is nice and their products are of quality.
Ps. I also waited 2 days after the treatment to write this review. My hair is still soft after washing and it still feels the same as when I left the salon; soft, fluffy and silky. I can confirm that the hair rescue treatment is definitely worth it. If it can rescue my hair, it can definitely save yours 😆

I had a wonderful first experience at U-Hair in Bishan. Being open to new looks, I let my stylist, Em, suggest a hair color that would suit me perfectly. Elaine and Jayden who performed my scalp treatment and wash, was also incredibly attentive and helpful. From the moment I walked in, the staff were very welcoming. The salon's clean and chic atmosphere, combined with the excellent quality of their coloring, treatment, and styling services, especially customer service created a truly positive and relaxing visit.

Had a lovely experience at the salon! Em did my hair and provided excellent customer service, making sure I felt comfortable throughout. Loved the thoughtful touch of tea and snacks too. I did the Hair Rescue Treatment — it really saved my permed, damaged hair! Now on day 2 after washing, and my hair still feels smooth and bouncy. Thank you both Em & Lucas for the warm hospitality!

I was served by dante and jayden today and i must say that they did a tremendous job of cutting my hair. They were professional because they knew what I wanted hut added their own twist or suggested improvements to my current hairstyle. They were also detailed in cutting my hair, constantly checking up on me if the length was to my liking and adjusted accordingly. They also taught me hoe to style my hair as well. Very satisfied with my cut and will definitely come back again!

wanted to fix my dry frizzy hair and ocean did a fantastic job. I didn’t need to explain much, I just told him I wanted to even out my hair colour and fix the dryness and he did everything perfectly for me. Very very happy with the service! Love my hair now.

Was served by Ocean & Jayden, both of them gave very professional and informative services, without much delays. I did roots touch up and hair treatment, wasn’t sure what treatments to do but they explained to me patiently what was needed without pushing me for what’s not.
The new salon outlet was clean and cosy, maybe a little cold as the air con is centralised but I was given thick blankets. Very impressed by their services! Will be back again, and highly recommended everyone to try their head and shoulders massages 👍🏻

Its my 1st time going there and they all have an excellent customer service. They offered me a drink upon arriving, the place was so clean and new. Em did my hair color and hair cut and she is quite a professional who knows what she is doing and would recommend products to take really good care of your hair. Elaine did my hair and scalp treatment and it was the best service I experienced here in Singapore. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it. Would definitely come back and let them take care of my hair. I highly recommend going here in U Hair Junction 8.
