Rude and Unprofessional Behavior by Boss at Anta Bishan (Junction 8)
I had a very unpleasant experience at the Anta Bishan outlet on 4 August 2023 around 10:00 AM. The store door was wide open, so I walked in thinking it was open for business. Inside, there were two staff members and one woman, who appeared to be the boss of that outlet, wearing a white and black striped blouse, denim shorts, and glasses.
Without any greeting, she looked at me angrily and shouted, “The shop is not open yet! Get out!” in a very rude and unprofessional tone. There was no sign at the entrance indicating that the shop was still closed.
Even after I explained that I didn’t see any notice, she continued speaking disrespectfully and insisted I leave, nearly pushing me out of the shop. As I stepped out, she slammed the door shut, which felt extremely hostile and offensive.
I’ve never been treated this way as a customer. Based on this experience, I will not return to Anta and cannot recommend the brand unless serious action is taken to address this unacceptable behavior.

I was very lucky indeed! While I was shopping for skincare at AMK Hub Guardian Pharmacy recently, I chanced upon a promoter who came up to me with excitement to share the goodness of her Anta running shoes. It was a coincidence, as I was also looking for a pair, and I dropped by the Anta boutique immediately.
I was extremely lucky to be served by Raj, who is very knowledgeable about running shoes and, best of all, is a runner himself. As he is a good salesperson, he was able to ask specific questions to quickly help streamline my choice of shoes to fit my purpose. He was very patient and encouraging, and also had a pleasant and cheerful disposition! He advised me to try walking in the shoes for a while to feel the fit.
Eventually, I bought 2 pairs of running shoes with a polo top, all for under $200! I am overjoyed as the running shoes offer great value for money, and the support is beneficial for my knees too! I have started wearing the shoes for work and brisk walking. Raj has made good and accurate shoe recommendations. It's truly an awesome experience shopping at Anta!
